The Men’s Spring 2016 collection was inspired by Kim Jones’ trip through Southeast Asia and his own personal 80’s fixations.
Kim Jones really impresses with his latest show for Louis Vuitton. Simplistic runway, feel good music and mesmerizing outfits. The oriental feel, bomber jackets, man bags and retro sunglasses just mesh together perfectly. Normally after I watch a fashion show I am left with a compact list consisting of a few items I love and plan on buying. Not today! I loved pretty much everything from the Spring collection. Can I put the entire collection on my wish list?
The jackets are without a doubt the stand out pieces from the show – walking art. The details and materials successfully convey Jones’ oriental and 80’s visions. My personal favorite pieces from the show were the shorts. Every pair. Do you know how hard it is to find fashion-pleasing shorts for men? It’s almost impossible which is why I feel very grateful right now.

StyledGuy – such a nice thread! I really have always enjoyed the menswear from LV, but this is undoubtedly a standout collection. The Oriental vibe is not too costumey and I for one loved the scarves! It felt cohesive and I can see why your list would have everything…… ???
