Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to post a picture of her and long-time pal Paris Hilton carrying matching Louis Vuitton Miroir Alma GM bags. The metallic bags are a throwback to the early 2000s when the pair would regularly be spotted sporting the matching designs in gold and silver. As you can imagine, fans went crazy.

The snap was part of the promotion for Kardashian’s new velour line for her shapewear brand SKIMS. The SKIMS Velour collection channels early 2000s style.

The pair sported velour tracksuits from the new range while carrying the glossy LV designs. Also posted to Kardashian’s Instagram was an eight-minute long promotional video on IG TV going behind the scenes of the glamorous photoshoot.

Fans gushed over the bags in the comments. One Instagram user described the look as “Iconic”.

Kardashian told viewers how she was gifted both bags for Christmas. The stylish duo reminisced about wearing the designer gems in Australia and Ibiza and recalled how they would regularly switch colors.

The celeb pals informed viewers that the bags featured in the shoot were the exact same ones they were regularly pictured carrying back in the early 2000s.

Kardashian also carried a Hermès Mini Kelly in the video. While the bag may not be as emblematic of the era as Louis Vuitton’s Miroir Alma, it certainly paired nicely with the star’s chocolate brown velour top and sweatpants combo from her new collection.

What do you think of the iconic Louis Vuitton Miroir Alma GM bag. Are you glad early 2000s fashion seems to be making a comeback? Let us know.

Love this report. This LV collection is one I have always regretted not buying. I have often considered buying from the secondary market and I type this while wearing my Gap velour tracksuit from 15 years ago that I still wear till this day. So three cheers for velour making a comeback!
