At the two couture presentations in Paris this morning, head designer Karl Lagerfeld did not come out for his usual post-show bow. Rather, the storied House announced that Mr. Lagerfeld was “feeling tired” and they wished him “to recover quickly.”
All of this leads to renewed speculation about his age (85), health and retirement. Frankly, at 85, he has every right to be tired and rest. We wish him well as well.
