If you didn’t already read PB’s article on the 2018/2019 Métier d’Art show, it was a spectacular display of gilded royalty as Lagerfield brought ancient Egypt all the way to New York City. The reigning pharaoh of the runway was none other than recent Chanel collaborator, Pharrell Williams.
But the runway was not the only place fashion was on display. The attendees of the show were just as regal, the front row a list of who’s who in fashion and Hollywood. Anna Wintour, Penelope Cruz, Margot Robbie, and Lily Rose Depp were just a few of the stars that lit up the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and I could keep going! My favorite look of the night came from style, music, and film icon Janelle Monae who stole the show in alternating black and white.
