Hello morganrxoxo :) my favourite shopping location is Spain; especially Madrid and Barcelona.. Every year 2 times; winter and summer, i go there for holiday and some shopping of course :) i arrange the dates so i can shop from the sales and also new season :) they have also some privileges for internationals like (+%15 discount or etc.. ) and there is also tax refund of course :) so Spain is my heaven for shopping :D and i will be there again on Friday :D

First for me is Paris because it’s just magical, the fashion capital of the world and my favorite city in the world, and the lower prices definitely don’t hurt either! Then NYC for the energy and the flagship department stores, and that everything is there, if not in multiple locations. Vegas also for the selection, multiple boutiques of the same brand, and being able to shop without leaving your hotel and being able to shop late at night ?

Totally agree with Styled Guy on the Vegas shopping vibes, but as for New York, I must say I feel the opposite. First of all, there’s no place on EARTH that compares to Bergdorf Goodman ? I personally love how spread out the stores are. It forces you to walk around and discover further parts of the city you might otherwise miss. I particularly love exploring through the side streets of NYC (& Chicago!) to find cute little boutiques. I’m sure Paris is a dream…I’ve yet to dash the streets of The Champs-Élysées, but am hopeful that wil happen soon. Of all the places I’ve shopped throughout the US, I have to give props to my hometown Troy, MI. The Somerset Collection is one most beautiful, luxurious and pristinely maintained malls of any I’ve visited! Most people don’t realize how underrated Michigan is for luxe retail. I would definitely recommend Somerset to anyone who ever visits the state.

My favorite city in the whole wide world is New York! What I love about New York is that you find many stores of the same brand so if one store doesn’t have in stoch what you want, you just go to the next one! I also adore Saks, Bergdorf and Henri Bendel. I would cross the ocean monthly just to see these 3 stores!

NYC and Paris are obviously so fantastic to me, but I really love Chicago for shopping. The Neiman Marcus there is fantastic (for you European/South American ladies it is a must visit and it’s who owns Bergdorf Goodman) and the Ralph Lauren flagship is impeccable. Michigan Avenue is so clean and lovely during nice weather and you can see the lake from many spots. It’s always been close to my heart for a shopping destination! ???

Great topic Morgan! :) I’m going to share my two favorite and two least favorite places to shop.
My personal favorite place to shop is Miami, they’ve got the best malls.. and the Design District is my idea of heaven. It’s soooo pretty, full of art and has literally every shop my shopaholic heart desires. Cartier, Lanvin, Valentino, Christian Louboutin, Hermes, Louis Vuitton.. just to name a few. I also love Buckhead, Atlanta. It’s usually not too busy, all the stores have lovely staff and it’s super pretty. It’s like a baby version of Miami’s Design District.
NYC shopping never impresses me. It’s one of my favorite places to visit – just not for the shopping. Barney’s and Goodman are awesome but everything else is mediocre at best. The stores are spread out too far and full of tourists.. I loathe trying to shop in a store full of people who are just “looking” or taking pictures. Plus when your carrying expensive designer bags from a store to your car you get that “someone is going to stab me” vibe.
The worst place to shop is Las Vegas. Perhaps I feel this way because I don’t smoke, don’t drink and don’t do drugs.. and it’s a city full of drunks, smokers, nouveau riche.. just the worst types of people. Even The Wynn won’t bring me back to Vegas. The store selection IS good but generally the staff suck and product selection is poor. Plus the heat is torture.

Hey guys! As a person living in Macau (near Hong Kong), I like to go to Milan and Paris! I also like to go to US for shopping but of course it’s hard to go so far for shopping everytime and when we do, I tend to go to places that have less tourists so I am able to have more choices in the store! In the states, it would probably be Vegas and LA because I used to live there! If it’s Asia, I would say Macau and maybe Singapore?

there is something amazing about NYC that is unlike any city in the world! the shopping is out of this world I’m not sure if its the hustle of the city but it gives you this amazing feeling!

Does the world wide web count as destination? ;)
Now seriously, Paris ranks number one for me. Variety, experience, overall glamour being the main reasons.
When the GBP/Euro ratio is a little more favorable for us purchasing in euros London is a close second.
Madrid, for the excellent customer service.

For me its Milan and New York. Love both cities, walking them, discovering new places, new designers. But in general the Tax Free makes Europe in general more interesting and offer better prices than US. And Hong Kong definitely has the best prices for things like jewelry and watches.
