And Hermès has finally returned to Long Island, NY. On October 29, 2026, its newly renovated store opened its doors at the Americana Manhasset Mall. Unlike the prior franchisee-run boutique that shuttered in August 2023, this one is company-owned and operated.

Paying homage to the Golden Age of the 1930s, Hermès says the space is intended to “capture the essence of the Nassau County neighborhood shoreline.”
Offering selections from all 16 Maison métiers, the store is arranged to feel like someone’s home, albeit closer to a villa. This single-level store with a double-height interior is bathed in natural light from sky-high windows and a central rotunda with a large skylight.

Carefully chosen artwork from the Emile Hermès Collection and the Hermès Collection of Contemporary Photography decorate the boutique. For the opening, American ceramic artist Annie Duncan created a window installation of an imagined workspace combining collected objects with Hermès products. The new boutique was designed by Paris architecture agency RDAI.
The store is open Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm.
