Put a Little Bloom on Your Birkin: Meet Hermès’ Marguerite Charm

0

What’s better than carrying a bouquet? A Hermès daisy adorning your favorite Birkin or Kelly, of course. The Maison’s latest charm is bringing a little flower power to the handbag game, with the new Marguerite adding a playful pop of color — and a decidedly summery mood — to your favorite bag.

Inspired by a design from Jean-Louis Dumas, the Marguerite transforms Hermès’ signature Clou de Selle into the flower’s sunny Jaune De Naples center, surrounded by carefully cut and polished leather petals in New White. The charm is crafted in a combination Evercolor calfskin and Chamkila goatskin, with a Bambou colored stem and palladium-plated hardware. Measuring just 5.9 × 2 × 1.6 cm, it may be tiny, but it brings plenty of personality.

And if the daisy looks familiar, you’re not imagining it. Hermès leaned into the flower for Spring-Summer 2026, when the Daisy Kelly Pochette brought the cheerful motif to one of the Maison’s tiniest Kellys. The Marguerite offers a different way to play with the floral motif, letting you move the bloom from bag to bag: a Birkin one day, a Picotin the next, or even a Mini Kelly Picnic or Kelly Doll when maximum cuteness is called for.

It may be a small accessory, but there’s plenty of craftsmanship packed into its petite proportions. Retailing for $1,625 in the US and €1,250 in Europe, the Marguerite sits at the higher end of Hermès’ bag charm offering, although it doesn’t quite reach the heights of the Bijou de Sac, the Maison’s blue-boxed charm launched in 2025. And while its cheerful daisy feels perfectly suited to summer, Hermès is giving us an excuse to carry a little sunshine well into the cooler months.
