Bottega Veneta has our hearts racing this Valentine’s Day, weaving romance into its latest capsule collection. Beyond holiday charm, the capsule demonstrates the house’s skill in reinterpreting its signature Intrecciato technique, transforming leather construction into playful love motifs. Subtle details appear across house favorites like the Mini Jodie and the Andiamo Clutch, each accented with romantic touches that feel considered rather than novelty.

The collection also pushes Intrecciato into new territory, experimenting with heart-shaped motifs and innovative construction techniques. Layered leather appliqués and openwork patterns play with texture and negative space, transforming familiar silhouettes into chic leather love letters.

Let’s take a closer look at the three standout designs from Bottega Veneta’s Valentine’s Day lineup.
Heart Tote
Bottega Veneta’s Heart Tote reimagines the house’s signature Intrecciato weave, using its construction to create all-over heart-shaped motifs—perfect for anyone who wants to wear their heart on their shoulder instead of their sleeve. Rendered in a vivid Lipstick red, the Heart Tote measures a practical 13 x 14.6 x 2.8 inches. The proportions keep the silhouette generous yet graphic, while the open work leather outer reveals a removable internal drawstring pouch made from recycled nylon, creating a subtle contrast in texture as well as practicality.

Designed with a single shoulder strap, the Heart Tote can be styled on the shoulder or carried by hand thanks to its shoulder drop of 11.8 inches. The Bottega Veneta Heart Tote is priced at $6,000.

Hop
The Hop offers a softer, more abstract interpretation of the Valentine’s theme. Rather than relying on cut-outs, this version is defined by layered nappa leather heart motifs applied across the entire body of the bag. Executed predominantly in the shade Sea Salt, the design is punctuated by a single red heart in the Lipstick colorway.

Measuring 8.3 x 18.1 x 3.1 inches, the familiar slouchy shape sits effortlessly on the shoulder. Secured with a discrete magnetic closure, inside you’ll find one roomy compartment, along with a zippered pocket for essentials. The limited-edition Hop is priced at $11,200.

Mini Andiamo
Following the same heart-led construction as the Hop, the Mini Andiamo joins the Valentine’s Day celebrations with a more statement-driven aesthetic. Crafted from nappa leather, the bag features all-over heart-shaped leather detailing arranged in soft, striped bands of Matcha, Rose Petal, and Sea Salt, punctuated by a single Lipstick-red heart that delivers the final flourish.

Finished with the house’s signature knot detail and a sliding crossbody strap, the Mini Andiamo can be styled crossbody, worn on the shoulder, or carried by hand via its mini top handle. Measuring 5.9 x 8.1 x 3.0 inches, the bag features a compartmented interior with an Intrecciato zipped pocket for added functionality. The Mini Andiamo retails for $7,300.
