2.55 Handbags

Among the most talked-about pieces from the Spring–Summer 2026 runway, Blazy reimagines the 2.55 Handbag with a deliberately lived-in, almost undone sensibility. Crafted from lambskin, it retains the Maison’s signature double-flap construction and Mademoiselle turn-lock, yet the silhouette is intentionally flattened and softened.

What sets this version apart is its malleable structure: discreet wire framing is embedded within the flaps, allowing the entire shape to be adjusted and sculpted. The bag can be worn open and relaxed as seen on the runway, or gently molded to hold a more defined form.

Each iteration is finished with aged gold-tone hardware, reinforcing the timeworn character. The reworked 2.55 is offered in the ‘Classic’ size (6.3 x 9.4 x 3 inches) in Black and Dark Burgundy, alongside a larger Maxi iteration in Black and Dark Beige measuring 8.7 x 13 x 3.7 inches.

While these metallic versions retain the signature open styling of the lambskin 2.55, their rigid construction means they are not malleable. The Classic Flap Bags return this season in a mix of familiar finishes and more unexpected interpretations.

The Classic 11.12 Handbag arrives from the runway in Ecru jersey, adorned with bold Yellow, Red, and Black floral embroidery that appears to bloom directly from the surface.

Seasonal Flap Bags get the Blazy treatment, reimagined and redesigned. A standout is the new Maxi Flap Bag, spotted on the shoulders of brand ambassadors A$AP Rocky and Pedro Pascal, underscoring its cross-gender appeal. Preppy Coco

The launch of Chanel’s Preppy Coco line certainly turned heads — and for 26S, the lineup expands with fresh colorways and a subtle evolution of silhouettes. Defined by its pared-back construction, stripped of quilting and leather-threaded chains in favor of smooth finishes and simplified hardware, the line offers a more minimal take on classic Chanel codes.

The Mini, officially named the Clutch with Leather Strap (4.5 x 6.7 x 2 inches) and housed within Small Leather Goods, is now offered in Black, Light Blue, Purple, Pink, White, and Dark Brown. Its larger counterpart, the Small Flap Bag (5.9 x 8.7 x 2.8 inches), arrives in Black and Light Blue, while the Vanity variation rounds out the core trio in Black, White, and Purple.

Something old, something new — Chanel’s Spring–Summer 2026 Tote lineup pairs the return of the Executive and Supermodel Totes with the continued rise of the Large Tote.

Already dubbed an “it” bag of the season, the Large Tote has been spotted on the shoulders of Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, and Jennie. Crafted from grained calfskin, this slouchy silhouette combines clean lines with subtle Chanel details. Measuring a generous 13 x 16.9 x 6.9 inches, the design features softly cinched sides and a front flap secured with a CC turn-lock.

For a more trend-led take, Chanel introduces the Small Tote, echoing the design codes of its larger sibling in a streamlined silhouette. First spotted on the runway, the Executive Tote officially returns, now called the Small Shopping Bag. Echoing the 2005 original, it retains a sleek, structured silhouette and signature front slip pocket secured with a CC turn-lock, with slightly elongated top handles.

Chanel is firmly back in its supermodel era, reviving the iconic Supermodel Tote from the early to mid-1990s with a streamlined, modern update. Measuring 14.2 x 18.1 x 7.9 inches, the Large Shopping Bag is crafted from grained calfskin, retaining the generous proportions, front leather tab, and CC turn-lock closure of the original. Quilting takes center stage in Chanel’s new Shopping Bag lineup, offered in both leather and suede. Boasting a trapeze silhouette measuring 11.4 x 15.7 x 3.5 inches, the design is crafted with flat quilting detail. A double leather-and-chain shoulder strap threads through CC-adorned eyelets for touch of CC coded hardware. Just in time for spring and summer, Chanel lightens up with a canvas tote — the new Small Shopping Bag. Chanel keeps the Two-Tone Shopping Bag first unveiled on the Métiers d’Art 2024/25 runway within the lineup. Blazy revisits a 1991 Chanel Messenger for 26S, retaining its oversized stitched CC logo and wide adjustable shoulder strap. The updated design introduces a full flap front, refining the original silhouette while remaining true to its early ’90s roots. Rendered in smooth lambskin, it is offered in two sizes: the classic at 6.3 x 9.8 x 3.1 inches, and a more elongated Maxi at 7.1 x 13.4 x 4.3 inches. Both are available in Black and Brown.

Chanel’s 26S Clutch and Evening Bag lineup spans sleek minimalist clutches to petite drawstring bags.

At the heart of the lineup are the Clutch with Leather Strap bags – not far removed from the Chanel 22 design. Offered in two sizes, the smaller measures 4.7 x 7.1 x 2 inches, while the larger comes in at 6.7 x 8.7 x 3.1 inches.
