“I haven’t seen people this excited about shopping in as long as I can remember,” editor and luxury consultant Olivia Singer told Vogue. Bryanboy echoed the sentiment, noting that Chanel may not have anticipated the level of demand: “It was quite a challenge to buy things that one wants because of the limited availability of many items. Whether it was a deliberate decision by Chanel or not, one thing is for certain — the collection was such a success.”

Chanel has revived its iconic Supermodel Tote from the early–to-mid 1990s with a modern, streamlined update. The Large Tote retains the original’s generous proportions and thoughtful details while introducing subtle refinements that reflect Matthieu Blazy’s contemporary vision.

Measuring 14.2 x 18.1 x 7.9 inches, the bag is crafted from grained calfskin, departing from the original 1990s quilted body and chain straps for a cleaner aesthetic. Much like the Maxi Flap, the chain straps have been replaced by all-leather versions, while functionality remains intact. A front slip pocket secured with a downsized CC turn-lock and a full-length back pocket with a magnetic closure provide practical organization, complemented by a roomy main compartment and an internal zippered pocket.
