Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel Spring–Summer 2026 collection doesn’t come cheap. A cotton shirt created in collaboration with Charvet retails for $4,350, while the coveted wool jacket from Look 1 of the runway will set you back $6,700. Against that backdrop, a full-leather Chanel handbag under $7,000 starts to feel surprisingly justifiable.

Fortunately, Blazy’s debut grouping includes several that make the cut. From archival revivals to fresh silhouettes, these seven Chanel bags reinterpret the Maison’s signature codes — quilting, CC turn-locks, and chain straps — for a new era of Chanel, all while staying at $7K or below.

Clutch with Leather Strap - $3,875
Not every Chanel design sits neatly within the handbag category. Each season, the House releases a handful of small leather goods that function very much like bags — and for Spring–Summer 2026, the Clutch with Leather Strap is one of the most appealing.

Reminiscent of the slouchy style of the Chanel 22, the Clutch with Leather Strap features a softly gathered quilted body with a drawstring fastening and slender leather shoulder straps finished with CC emblems and matching clochette. Offered in supple lambskin shades including Dark Brown, Beige, Light Blue, Black, White, Dark Burgundy, and Green, the style also appears in a two-tone Beige suede calfskin version with Black lambskin detailing. All iterations are paired with gold-tone hardware, with the Clutch with Leather Strap retailing for $3,875.

Small Shopping Bag - $4,500
Primed for sunnier days, Chanel’s new Small Shopping Bag arrives in lightweight Ecru canvas. The classic open-top silhouette is defined by folded edges that lend a subtle origami-esque structure, while contrasting Black calfskin trim keeps the palette crisp and monochromatic. Slender longline shoulder straps attach to the bag with signature CC motifs, while short chain top handles thread through the centre of the emblems — which appear to be removable for alternative styling.

Measuring a roomy 7.5 x 17.7 x 8.3 inches, the spacious interior easily accommodates everything from a beach towel to a book. The Small Shopping Bag is offered exclusively in Ecru and Black and retails for $4,500.

Large Bowling Bag - $5,700
Chanel extends the Preppy Coco silhouette further this season with the introduction of the Large Bowling Bag. Measuring 4.3 x 11.8 x 4.3 inches, the elongated cylindrical design is crafted from grained calfskin and finished with contrasting lambskin piping.

The design retains the original’s dual elongated shoulder straps and flap closure secured with a CC turn-lock. The Large Bowling Bag is offered in two color combinations — Black with White piping and the reverse, White with Black piping — both finished with gold-tone hardware and retailing for $5,700.

Messenger Bag - $6,600
Chanel revisits its 1991 archival Messenger Bag for Spring–Summer 2026, featuring an oversized stitched CC logo that anchors the front. The design honors the original with soft lambskin and a wide adjustable shoulder strap, allowing the bag to be worn on the shoulder or across the body.

For 2026, the bag features a full-front flap and minimal stitching detail, for a clean contemporary look. Measuring 6.3 x 9.8 x 3.1 inches, the Messenger Bag is offered in Black and retails for $6,600.

Small Flap Bag - $6,600
Can’t decide between the Classic Flap and the 2.55? The 2026 Small Flap Bag offers the best of each in a double-face design. Crafted from soft quilted lambskin, it features two flap closures — one secured with the Mademoiselle lock from the 2.55, the other with a CC turnlock.

Measuring 5.9 x 9.1 x 2 inches, the bag mirrors the height and width of the Small Classic Flap, with a slimmer depth for a more streamlined profile. It is offered in two classic colorways, Beige and Black, and White and Black, each finished with gold-tone hardware, and retails for $6,600.

Small Shopping Bag - $7,000
Chanel brings back the iconic 2005 Executive Tote with a refreshed silhouette and updated colorways. Now called the Small Shopping Bag, the design maintains a semi-structured shape and signature front slip pocket secured with a CC turn-lock. The removable shoulder strap has been replaced with slightly elongated top handles, allowing for both hand carry and shoulder styling.

Sized between the original East-West Executive Tote and the Classic Executive Tote, the Small Shopping Bag measures 7.9 x 15.4 x 5.1 inches. Crafted in classic calfskin leather, it is available in Black, Dark Burgundy, and Beige, all finished with gold-tone hardware. The bag retails for $7,000.

Small Shopping Bag - $7,000
Spotted on the shoulder of Chanel brand ambassador Margot Robbie prior to its launch, the Small Shopping Bag is a sleek, streamlined baguette crafted from supple calfskin. Measuring 5.9 x 12 x 4.5 inches, it features a flat-quilted body, a front flap secured with a CC turn-lock, and softly cinched sides.
