Sneakers have officially secured their place in the luxury wardrobe — no longer a casual afterthought, but a considered investment in both style and wearability. Once dominated by sportswear giants like Nike and Adidas, the category has been steadily redefined by fashion houses leaning into craftsmanship, elevated materials, and quietly distinctive design. At a more accessible price point than handbags, and aligned with increasingly casual, on-the-go lifestyles, luxury sneakers have become an entry point for designer dressing.

For 2026, silhouettes are slimmer, palettes more vibrant, and collaborations sharper than ever. Here are six styles that should be on your radar right now.
Louis Vuitton – Sneakerina & Open Back Sneakerina
For Spring–Summer 2026, Louis Vuitton reimagines the Sneakerina in both its classic and new open-back styles, blending the elegance of a ballet flat with the comfort of a sneaker. Prices for the Louis Vuitton Sneakerina start at $1,080.
PurseBop shares her take on the Louis Vuitton Sneakerina, worn during her recent Japan trip:
“I went for the Monogram pair and they were incredibly comfortable. The sole isn’t a traditional flat tread – it has more of a driving-shoe feel – which means they’re great for casual walking, but on uneven surfaces they don’t offer a huge amount of support. That said, they were perfect for day-to-day exploring. I actually bought them on a trip to Italy last year, along with a Louis Vuitton set I still live in when I travel. In Japan, I wore them for about five days out of twelve – they really became my go-to.”

Style
Louis Vuitton’s Sneakerina is back and brings its little sister. The streamlined silhouette sits low — a cross between a sneaker and a ballet flat, with a soft, flexible construction that keeps the profile light. A driving-shoe inspired sole, formed from the Maison’s iconic LV Flower motif, sets the base of the designs. Subtle LV branding sits at the side of the shoe in a stripe-like placement, echoing sportswear detailing. Both the Sneakerina and Open Back Sneakerina are offered in a wide range of fabrications and colorways – from leather and suede, to Monogram canvas iterations. Choose from a range of colorways including Vert, Fuschia, and Hazelnut Brown, alongside metallic versions.

Fit
As the name suggests, the Sneakerina offers the lightweight comfort of a ballet flat. The Sacchetto construction ensures flexibility, while the open-back style allows for an easy on-and-off fit – no chance of blisters here! Louis Vuitton notes the Sneakerina runs true to size, though the open-back version offers a slightly more generous fit.

Hermès – Master Sneaker
Hermès continues to expand its popular line of kicks with the Master Sneaker, a refined, minimalist addition. Available in six neutral shades – Noir, Gold, Blanc, Kraft, Beige Perlino, and Beige Albâtre, these versatile sneakers retail for $1,275 and come in supple calfskin or suede goatskin.

Style
The Master Sneaker leans into a restrained design approach, with a slim, low-profile shape and minimal detailing. Offered in calfskin or suede goatskin, the design is pared back, with a thin sole and clean lines that nod to retro styles without feeling overly nostalgic. Branding is kept to a minimum, with a ‘H’ subtly intergrated into the top-stiching detailing.

Fit
Designed with a slim, close-to-the-foot profile, the Master Sneaker offers a sleek, minimalist fit. The sole height of 0.2 inches keeps the shoe low to the ground, enhancing the retro feel, while the soft leather upper adapts to the foot over time for comfort. True-to-size sizing is recommended for a tailored, classic fit.

Onitsuka Tiger x Versace – TAI-CHI Sakura Sneaker
One of the standout collaborations of the season, Onitsuka Tiger x Versace reimagines a heritage silhouette through a distinctly high-fashion lens. First seen on the Spring–Summer 2026 runway, this partnership taps into the growing appetite for slim, retro-inspired sneakers, with prices starting at $950.

Style
The TAI-CHI Sakura blends Onitsuka Tiger’s classic silhouette with Versace’s signature design codes, resulting in a sleek, low-profile sneaker with retro flair. Crafted in Japan at the Sanin factory in Tottori, each pair showcases double-stitched Onitsuka Tiger stripes, subtle Medusa hardware on the tongue, and embossed Versace branding on the heel. Available in both nappa leather and suede, the leather versions are treated with an artisanal washing process, giving each pair a unique, slightly aged finish. Colourways include the iconic yellow and brown, and suede tones in blue, and green.

Fit
With a slim, low-to-the-ground profile, the TAI-CHI Sakura offers a foot-hugging fit that emphasizes comfort and mobility, staying true to its martial arts-inspired origins. The lightweight construction and soft leather upper provide flexibility, while the streamlined silhouette may feel snug, so sizing up is recommended for those between sizes.

Chanel - 26P Sneakers
As Matthieu Blazy’s vision for Chanel crystallizes, the footwear earns the spotlight as much as the heralded handbags. From the Spring–Summer 2026 Pre-Collection, the retro-inspired 26P Sneakers arrive in three neutral colourways – Light Brown & White, Black & White, and White & Black, each retailing for $1,350.
On the Chanel 26P Sneakers, PurseBop shared:
“These got me through my Japan trip. I didn’t think they would, because they’re so flat – I assumed they’d be more of a fashion sneaker rather than something I’d actually walk thousands of steps in. But they ended up being the pair I wore the most. They were far more comfortable and practical than I expected – and took me from day to night.”

Style
The Chanel 26P Sneaker offers a sleek, low-top profile that leans into the season’s trend for slim, retro-inspired footwear. Crafted from a combination of smooth calfskin as the base, paired with embossed suede at the toe box and laces for a touch of contrast texture. The iconic interlocking CC logo is prominently featured on the side in a tonal finish, while classic Chanel label accents the tongue.

Fit
Designed with everyday wear in mind, the 26P Sneaker offers a lightweight, flexible fit that requires minimal break-in time. The standout feature is the gum sole, which features a 0.4-inch elevation at the heel. Offered in half sizes, the Chanel 26P Sneaker runs true to size.

Style
Loewe’s new Grip Sneaker channels climbing-shoe references through its asymmetric toe shape and hiking boot-inspired lacing system. Crafted primarily in suede calfskin, molded TPU outsoles wrap across the toes and curve across the toes for added durability and a technical edge. Notably, the Jungle Green and Sunshine Yellow colorways feature a matching TPU toe for a seamless look, while the other shades contrast for a more graphic effect. Branding is intentionally pared back, with a partially visible Loewe Anagram at the side, embossed tongue detailing, and jacquard LOEWE webbing at the heel.

Fit
A low-profile 0.5 cm heel and flexible TPU outsole give the Grip Sneaker a lightweight, barely there feel. The asymmetric construction can feel snug at first, so those between sizes may want to consider sizing up.

Celine – The Flat Sneaker
Celine’s new Flat Sneaker for Spring-Summer 2026 offers a sleek, minimalist take on casual footwear, combining refined craftsmanship with subtle sporty details. Retailing for $900, the Flat Sneaker leans into Celine’s new more stripped-back, less logo heavy aesthetic.

Style
True to its name, the Flat Sneaker features a slim, streamlined silhouette crafted from a mix of materials including viscose, polyester, calfskin, and lambskin, with a leather and textile lining for comfort. Branding is understated yet distinctive: the embroidered Triomphe emblem appears on the heel, a removable Triomphe charm on the laces adds customization, and a diagonal stripe on the side introduces a sporty touch. Additional details include a label with printed CELINE on the side, and debossed CELINE under the outsole. Colourways range from classic Black/White to Dark Green/Purple, Red/Electric Blue, and playful Purple/Yellow combinations.

Fit
Designed for a close, comfortable fit, the Flat Sneaker features a lace-up closure, leather insole, and rubber outsole. The low-profile silhouette keeps the foot grounded, while the lightweight construction and soft linings ensure all-day wearability. True-to-size sizing is recommended, with a slightly snug feel around the midfoot for a secure fit.
