Life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns. Sometimes it’s just so black . In that vein, Chanel’s Cruise line has an all black boy with the infamous black hardware.
It’s a soft leather – feels not quite, caviar, not quite lamb. We saw two sizes, small and medium, and are smitten.

So black may not be so new – we remember them from 2017 – but it always seems so special. The small one is so cute.
Of course, if you prefer the rainbow, Chanel has that too in spring/summer 2018. It comes in three different sizes including a real mini that costs less than a classic mini. The wee one is 3.7” x 5.9” at $3100. A classic mini you may recall now retails at $3300. We reported the classic flap increase back in November and the only bag yet to increase is the boy. And I already did! I was going to purchase rainbow pastel colours with the pink closure but when I saw it in person it turned out a little bit too busy for me so I went with the similar you are showing from the Chanel website Classic Medium Boy.

I just got the small so black boy! I fell in love with the leather (as you mentioned it’s kind of a hybrid) and I can’t help but be stoked about finally grabbing a so black piece! I’ve already gotten a ton of compliments and questions about it. It truly is a special boy. When my SA called to let me know it was in, I was hesitant in purchasing it because it was my third Chanel boy purchase in 3 months but I couldn’t help myself! It’s defintley my favorite boy ❤️
