Honestly why not both LOL, they compliment in each other really well actually! But if I had to choose I’d lean towards the smaller…big karlito is too much sass!

PurseBop, PLEASE take the plunge! I can’t get over how cute this bag is. I feel like you’ll be really happy in terms of its versatility as well.

I like the look! even though it’s intentionally trying to be bold and different, it’s very cute for a fun summer day bag
- chloet18 replied 11 years ago
These Dior Multi-Coloured Embroidered Leather wallets seem cool..they’re apart of the spring/summer collection

Wow, lovely picks ladies… I find it so hard to pick just 3 bags… I really feel as if I’m picking a fave daughter LOl but here goes:

My dinner bag & boots tonight, it’s freezing here

Mine would be core!!! The only thing I don’t really agree in the hierarchy above is Proenza Schouler being considered everyday luxury… I think it should be part of core luxury.

It’s a yay for me… Very classic and timeless bag that I believe you will wear a lot ;)

The small Chloe Crossbody Marcie also popped in ny head. And also the Gucci Soho Disco or Disco in chains… These little bags are very cool and fit for a teen

Here is the last pic I took of miss BLK, my Bougainvillea chèvre Kelly Wallet and only member of the H family I have for now haha

You´re not alone at all hahaha most of my bags have names :) my vintage CHanel is called Grandma CC, my Valentino Glam Lock is called Valentina, then there is miss Silvana (Fendi), miss BLk (H Kelly wallet), miss Donna (Gucci Soho Disco- it’s only fair she’s named after the queen of disco Donna Summer haha)… And so on… I loved your orange CC’s name ;) Shakira sure is sexy and beautiful!

I think the Gucci diamante leather duffle is beautiful and very chic, you should take a look at it :)

My current set is tumi, so I guess I cannot be of much help. I will say that if your use is for international travel I would not spend too much on the pieces. From my experiences, I find international luggage is handled very roughly. I travel frequently overseas to Asia and my luggage does not come back looking very nice. I keep a different set for domestic and a different set for international for this very reason. I do carry expensive designer carry on luggage as that is only handled by me. Just my thoughts :)

Let’s discuss this more. I LOVE Chanel but am hurt by price increases here in Europe. I don’t want to be sympathetic to Hermes, but feel I am.
- maroon5 replied 11 years ago
Kate spade and Marc Jacobs are pretty popular amongst young teenagers. Or if you want to spend a little bit more than 1k, get the balenciaga envelope
- thepinkmarigold replied 11 years ago
How about a FENDI mini? Although I think they will run over 1K :(
- maroon5 replied 11 years ago
A little over the $1k price point but hopefully still in your range…
The bottega mini messenger bags are adorable and a solid piece to start any collection! If your daughter likes clean lines like Chanel, bottega may be an option

3) small red givenchy antigona

She might like something like this: YSL Metelasse clutch ($695)…I feel like it’s young and fresh

Know you’re looking for a set but there are some pretty trendy duffles floating around. Based off browsing Prada and Alexander McQueen have some pretty good luggage, minimalist and fashion forward.

yes I’ve heard saddle soap words well. However, cleaning bags is a pretty strenous process, and can quickly lead to failure if you’re doing it the wrong way. If the damage looks too bad take it into a professional leather cleaner. There may be a process for stain proofing a bag if you’re really worried? But to protect the bag in general, the best way is to probably just be really careful LOL
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
While I love my chanel and hermes, in terms of style and look I prefer most of the brands in the Core Luxury category. Yes, they may be less exclusive but I like their trendier looks! I appreciate that may friends and I can coordinate, compare, and talk about the same bags.
- chloet18 replied 11 years ago
She would probably really like the Chloe small Marcie crossbody! They run about $795
