Surprised with all the LV presence too…going to take a look at the article. Thank you for sharing this, very interesting.

to use as a bag charm, mini Karlito, to do Pursebop photo shoots, big Karlito hehe… I think they are both so cute, but big Karlito is not bag friendly IMO. XOXO

$10k+ for a Birkin has always been pushing it for me…After seeing the price differences, it’s even more not worth it to me.

I’ve been eyeing the boy bags lately…maybe it’s my bias, but boy wallet!
- redkisses replied 11 years ago
I don’t have this bag personally, but I feel like the fendi baguette would be a good option..maybe in a bright orange, yellow, or pink color!
- redkisses replied 11 years ago
CC needs to keep roots strong in France…I think it’s unfair! I understand it’s hard to fix the prices everywhere, but still a bad move for the chanel image
- redkisses replied 11 years ago
Interesting find! I feel like the LV trends are fading out in every city though… kind of like the anti-it bag thing posted a while ago..(https://www.pursebop.com/hermes-kelly-anti-it-bag) Overall, I’d say its true chanel is majorly popular in new york and chitown

I admire Kanye for being so flippant!!! and I’m not saying he should be a fashion God, but he’s definitely one of the most stylish men in the music industry and I like his vibe. Kim is more obnoxious.

1 Vote for Classic Here. No doubt, the boy is becoming a classic though. However, if I was buying a wallet or staple piece I’d start off with the classic.
- chloet18 replied 11 years ago
I really like the Boy Style! Although you can’t go wrong with either one, the lines on this one are more appealing.
- StyleInTheCity replied 11 years ago
Quite honestly I can’t stand Kanye West and am tired of Kim’s B’s and K’s. Sorry had to vent.
- maroon5 replied 11 years ago
For me, an everyday bag is a long term investment and I’d rather put my dollars there to make sure it is high quality and something that I’m pleased with. Maybe it’s just me, but my bags when I got to special big events are pretty low key..
- StyleInTheCity replied 11 years ago
loving the BOY style, amazing! Go for that, yeah!
- maroon5 replied 11 years ago
If you want to start of your Bottega collection with a staple, getting the napa may be better. The cervo is also a bottega favorite, but again not a staple. If you fall in love with your first Bottega, getting the cervo in the future won’t cause too much overlap in your collection. Great bags, different looks..I’ll be the devil on your shoulder and say why not BOTH (eventually LOL) ;)!

In a devil advocates way, I feel like Hermes can manage the price disparity just fine. Yes, Hermes has great, high quality bags but let’s not forget most of the appeal is the exclusivity. I am not saying we should be happy to suffer higher prices in the US, but knowing your hermes bag has worth by its look and status is more important

Not a fan of kim or kanye. Either way I am shocked by the coverage. Yet, Kanye is all about the attention and who knows if the clothes deserve the true press. I hope they don’t bounce back into the fashion world anytime soon x.x

I would be more accepting of some of these bag charms if they didn’t look so much like fake keychains. I like the simple leather bag charms with initials or just a basic shape. Adding a giant neon yellow fur ball to a beautiful bag is overkill, IMO.
- mrb.165 replied 11 years ago
First one should be roomy enough if you limit your load and change out books during the day. Second, one probably won’t cut it. I say the first. Looks like it has a little more utility and style than the second.
- mrb.165 replied 11 years ago
Leaning towards black…even though you’ll have versatility with both neutrals, black will give that elegant, professional wow you’re probably looking for. I also agree less visible wear and tear for something you’re carrying around all the time.
- mrb.165 replied 11 years ago
NOT happy about the price disparity. Seeing the difference on the chart sets me off even more! Even though I cant benefit from the low european prices here, Im glad Hermes isnt following chanel. Best move is to not alienate the domestic consumer base, and stay true to brand roots. All that being said, still not sure a trip to paris will be on my agenda anytime soon!
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
Honestly, not all bottega bags I like.. I have bought few sandals and wallets. I like the first pic, nappa hobo. Anyways,I was about asking something about bottega too haha.. I was thinking to get Alexander McQueen or bottega venetta clutch… What do you think is better?
- thepinkmarigold replied 11 years ago
I have to defend bag charms! It’s hard to argue with evidence that they’re worth the price — fair enough. BUT, most new fashion crazes seem trivial and not worth the money at first. I want my bags to have a little personal flair, or color coordinate my silly charms to my bags. Who knows if the bag charm trend will last, but I can’t resist their cuteness for now. It should be a question of look not price
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
I’m on the side of special is special. Even though I’m not going to big events as often, when I do go out I want a glam bag to help me feel special and stand out! I find it hard to resist the limited edition pieces because I want an eclectic collection. Can’t stand the same old black everyday bags even if my bag outshines me LOL :)
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
I like the first bag… Looks simple and neat. I honestly don’t know whether it will be enough room for laptop and books because I usually carry nothing inside my bag except wallet and cell
- thepinkmarigold replied 11 years ago
Those briefcases look stunning… But I’m leaning towards taupe ;)

You might also consider that wear and tear will show much less with black over long time use. My breifcase is a Louis Vuitton that I have had for years, but because it’s brown the handles etc look pretty beat up now. My vote is for black, especially if you wear mostly black and greys. Looking forward to a reveal someday soon I hope!
- Pursebop replied 11 years ago
Gosh, I love both :) but as this is a major purchase selecting the right color is a crucial decision. I would suggest taking a detailed look at your wardrobe color preferences. For example, do you tend to wear more greys & blacks or more earth toned colors such as tan, olives, and browns? What shoes do reach for the most?

My wedding details… Not my own wedding, LOL~ attending wedding details
- PurseBop replied 11 years ago
Honestly? The Boy is a pretty bag and all, but the classic flap will always be the classic flap, timeless and chic. I´m afraid the Boy may get tiring and outdated in the long run.
- Bella replied 11 years ago
I agree that bag charms are expensive considering one could very well purchase a great bag for the cost of a charm, however this could be explained in terms of relativity. If one is adorning a 15,000 dollar bag with a $500 dollar charm, the perspective of expensive changes.
- Pursebop replied 11 years ago
I must admit I also think they are all too expensive… but the mini Karlito is just waaayyy too cute!!! If I had one, I’d want to sleep hugging it every night hahaha

Can’t say it’s fair either… Prices should never be raised in the level they are going to raise it in europe. It’s ridiculous and europeans should retaliate.
- Bella replied 11 years ago
I think one good timeless bag is more than enough. Why have a closet full when you only wear one at a time?
- Bella replied 11 years ago
I don’t like bagcharms… They are so childish. Also think they are overpriced.
