As much as I love my new Reissue, I’ll have to give my Classic Jumbo a HGB status becasue it fits everything. Keys, pouch, cardholder, and my Sony NEX-5 with both kit lenses. Fits me phone, too. I’m surprised it can hold that much.

Hi everyone! My HGs were lagoon and rose tyrien k or b. I was lucky to have gotten both. Lagoon kelly 32 with phw in togo leather and rose tyrien b 30 with phw in chevre. Now my hg is black shiny croc b in size 30! Some day!!!

Do you have any brands you specifically seek? In Milan, you would want to visit the Duomo. There are brand shops at the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle adjacent to the Duomo. You will also find more masstige shops along the stretch if you strolled around the vicinity. There is La Rinascente where you can find clothing, of some diffusion lines. Head to Montenapoleone for brands. You can do this all on the same day, depending on how long you intend to shop at each brand. Google Via Montenapoleone Milan, you might find an updated list of boutiques. I would like to say almost every brand is represented in that area. Along Montenapoleone you will have more little cobble streets of more brand shops and restaurants. Not sure when you are going to be there… Have a simple lunch of truffle pasta at Ristorante Bagutta (via Bagutta), tea break of little cakes and coffee at Cova, and shop on. If you are on a shopping trip, then you would consider to head to Florence, it’s beautiful. You will find brands there too. If you like jewellery, as touristy as it may sound, there is the jewellery bridge (Ponte Vecchio). If you make a point to stay at least one night at Florence, you can ask the hotel to arrange for a bus to pick you to the outlets, it’s over an hour drive away. This will see you back to Florence only 5pm perhaps. Still ample time to take the train back to Milan. Oh, and I want to add, you may also like to see the Last Supper when you are in Milan. Hope this helps!

First of all; thank you for sharing that.. I am very interested in these issues since highschool. i also wrote a paper about sweatshops in China, child labor etc.. now i am in textile industry. we are producing for one of the most famous brands in Europe (i will not give names but they are very very strict about these issues) which i admire a LOT. This is a very very important development for all of us.. i hate when people use fake items.. there are goods that i can afford and also there are some that i can not afford :D this is not a big deal for me.. i dont buy sth that i cant afford. or go for a fake version of it.. i work for it and my collection is growing day by day .. not day by day lets say month by month :D :D but it makes me happy since it is mine and i invest on my own.. but i guess it is a big deal for some people.. i hope your post will be a lesson for them.. however to be honest, many of us are buying clothes some famous brands which are affordable.. i will not give names again.. but are we sure that they are not using child labor? or bad materials? i stopped buying from some of these brands since i heard these kinds of things.. but i believe that, every second people get aware of this issues, brands will start to take more responsibility about this issues.. or at least start to be more transparent.. thanks again Styledguy for this post :)

Wow thank you for sharing your H journey. Such a fantastic read! I like how each of your B’s have a story and a little history behind them, really adds to the charm. I’m grateful that you went one step further and gave exact details about the Hermes terms, different sizes and leather types.

You really made me giddy reading about your first B and how you saw those three magical boxes.. it got me thinking about how my first Hermes bag will turn out? I began my H journey under a year ago. It started with small accessories.. then it gradually progressed to an addiction to ready-to-wear.
Now, I’m in talks with my SA and patiently waiting for a K!

I also have to agree about the immaculate service Hermes provides.. one of the many reasons I love H. I feel that no other luxury brand comes close, in terms of service. You don’t just shop at Hermes, you experience it and make memories.

I wish my first experience had been similar to yours – I adore my swift BE K35 with GHW but it was purchased from a friend days after she got it from the store bc she changed her mind, much like your fun exchange with your cousin ?. My local store is small, but getting a fabulous remodel and re-opening fete in November. I’ve purchased a fabulous Jypsiere there among many other belts, scarves, hats, etc. I guess I never truly asked my SA for a B or a K, so maybe that’s the ticket, lol. I was always apprehensive I guess, and intimidated by the clientele that dominates the zip code that supports the store. So many of these elite have gotten turned away in purchasing one and since I work in luxury retail also and had that going for me, I thought I was surely doomed!!! My SA left for Harry Winston after over 10 years with Hermes and she was the top salesperson in that store, so there was a bit of a lull for me while I found another one – it’s hard to find a good one! Your story makes me hopeful to score one from the store and feel that thrill! My husband sound very similar to yours and he loves surprising me and really gets into the fashion things I like! Just google up Milan shopping map and you will find list of boutiques on the streets close to Duomo. I just got back from there. Bought a Chanel Reissue and a small Lady Dior. Love Milan. Chanel clothing is on sale up to 30 %.

How many days are you going to be there? If you like Saint Laurent and can go to Foxtown outlet in Switzerland which is driving distance, the large SDJ in red and orange are on sale together with their other bags.

There is also the Mall Outlet in Florence if you like Prada and other Italian brands. Obviously, there’s Space outlet that carries Prada and MiuMiu, but if you’re going to spend a day in an outlet, I’ll go for multiple brands outlet. There are also many other outlets near Milan.

Thank you for sharing. I hate fake and there are too may IG fake bags sellers out there. When I have a clear shot of my bags, I put watermark. Otherwise, these fakers steal photos and send them to innocent bag newbies.
