For me its Milan and New York. Love both cities, walking them, discovering new places, new designers. But in general the Tax Free makes Europe in general more interesting and offer better prices than US. And Hong Kong definitely has the best prices for things like jewelry and watches.

I just brought my first Petite Malle and I love it so very much. I am in love with the new Rose ballarine Petite malle, I brought the LV monogram as I have a limited budget and was not sure if I will buy the Rose Ballerine as there are so many fashion items I want. I have a couple questions.. mainly about the Petite Malles? Do you know when the green palm tree petite malle will be out and how many units are going to be available?
Is the black exotic petite Malle lizard or snake and how much? I’m scared to find out the price of that one after discovering the transparent PM was almost $15k?
Also, what’s the quality of the rings like? They look super cute.

Hi.. Yes! So frustrating! We don’t have a CHANEL store in my country (South Africa) so I have to wait until I travel.. So it is upsetting when they tell you they will not be recieving any more beige! I put my name on the wish list for the black.. It’s almost like they want to be like Hermes with the waiting list! They should work with online deposits so that if you live in South Africa for example they can at least reserve your bag/s until you get there!

First for me is Paris because it’s just magical,the fashion capital of the world and my favorite city in the world, and the lower prices definitely don’t hurt either! Then NYC for the energy and the flagship department stores, and that everything is there, if not in multiple locations. Vegas also for the selection, multiple boutiques of the same brand, and being able to shop without leaving your hotel and being able to shop late at night ?

I don’t need to do this on a daily basis but I always do when traveling, usually 2 medium size bags in a large tote that I carry on!

tashy_tash1 I know how frustrating it is when we want something, are wiling to buy, but we are told no availabilities. Chanel has tried to reduce the availability of the classics. They are available in limited quantities and seem to arrive at a very paced rate. It’s quite possible the store has exceeded its classics quota. Having said this I wouldn’t loose hope completely. Visit the store and keep calling, they may be surprised by a delivery. Here in the US there is a wait list for the classics. From my personal experience the wait list gets longer closer to a price increase. Have you thought of having it shipped from a department store here in the US? I can send you a reference if you need one :)
I hope you find your bag because it’s far more fun to have the full experience and inspect your treasure to be in person.

Hi there! I am a bit of a mini addict so let me give you a little help at least on the Chanel front. The Chanel mini typically has a 22 inch drop. I am 5’7″ so wearing cross body is doable but not perfect. This might fall a little long over the shoulder if you are petite. However the new mini I just bought is a 4 hole mini and therefore can be doubled up and carried like the larger flaps. The disadvantage for me with this one is that the strap is shorter so I can not wear cross body at all. But this might be perfect for you :) I’ll take a couple of quick pics. As for DIOR, I am curious too. The strap appears longer from the images I am seeing on IG.
I just measured this one for you and drop length is 17″ .

Hello morganrxoxo :) my favourite shopping location is Spain; especially Madrid and Barcelona.. Every year 2 times; winter and summer, i go there for holiday and some shopping of course :) i arrange the dates so i can shop from the sales and also new season :) they have also some privileges for internationals like (+%15 discount or etc.. ) and there is also tax refund of course :) so Spain is my heaven for shopping :D and i will be there again on Friday :D

Hi my gorgeous Francine :) actually my dad always brought high fashion or limited edition bags/shoes etc. to my mom from his business trips. at that time, there were no boutiques of exclusive brands in Ist :( .. After i grow up, he started to bring me too :D yeaaayy :D he always told me that, “if you can afford it, go for it.. the quality is the most important thing..”.. and the idea of the quality and luxury started to settle in my brain in these years :D

Love the nesting images and I love boptalk where we can share these conversations, in my real world it doesn’t happen !!!! We need to feel safe when away and small is practical. I always wear cross body so I know my valuables are right next to me. Xxx

Bag nesting is soooo essential for travel or even working girls who go straight out after leaving the office! It was hard to only choose two, but I took BE Kelly with Chanel red patent mini flap inside her for my French adventure! I also took my LV hard sided beauty case, but it was on,y filled with belts, jewelry, and accessories ??

Of course the usual fashion mags are obvious, but I’ve enjoyed these books so many times! I also want to shoutout to GQ because it truly is a lovely read, always funny, never boring, and even though I am a girl, menswear is so fun and inspiring to me. Audrey and Cary Grant are my favorite, so cheers to those books as well! ????

Sweet Francine you are truly an inspiration! I’m very into bright colors and find ways to wear them even in the winter so I love that someone else is putting that out there in such a lovely way. I’ve followed you for awhile in my private account but you were a major influencer for me starting sapphiresandscotch. I remember my grandmother always having beautiful bags that matched things and I always wanted to look that chic and elegant! I was always more of a shoe girl and invested much of my hard earned money in nice shoes, most of which I still love and own. My tipping point would be my beloved BE swift Kelly and my husband surprising me with her – I am now forever addicted and have wanted to fulfill my bag “list” now that he did that ?.

there is something amazing about NYC that is unlike any city in the world! the shopping is out of this world I’m not sure if its the hustle of the city but it gives you this amazing feeling!
