On Monday, July 31, a group of men targeted and robbed a Gucci boutique located in the Bloomingdale’s at Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles. At approximately 3:10 p.m., the group of nine men entered Bloomingdale’s and fled with numerous stolen goods in their arms. The daring robbery was captured on video by bystanders, which later circulated on Twitter.

The video footage shows the group of men wearing hoodies, sprinting out of the Gucci store with their arms full of products. It appears as though some of the thieves got away clutching large handbags, and perhaps even luggage items. Despite a lone security guard attending to intervene, the thieves managed to make a clean getaway at around 3:30 pm.

The robbery appeared to be planned beforehand, as the offenders in question escaped the scene swiftly, in two different vehicles – a white SUV and a red Kia. As a result, this has made it increasingly difficult for the authorities to identify and trace those responsible. It is currently unclear whether the thieves were armed or if anyone was harmed during the incident. The LAPD has not yet provided any further details about the robbery, and no arrests have been reported. Furthermore, neither Gucci nor the LAPD have commented on the value of the stolen goods.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Gucci has been targeted – as it was a few weeks ago that a group of men robbed the boutique in San Francisco. It has since been reported that the offenders escaped with approximately $48,000 worth of stolen goods.
