Hermès has officially joined the Nashville lineup — and it’s hitting all the right notes. In a city famous for guitars and glitter, the French luxury house adds a new kind of twang: one of timeless craftsmanship and quiet elegance.

The 43rd store in the United States officially opened its doors on October 16, 2025, with a decor and design inspired by the city’s musical legacy. Located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, the boutique covers two floors of a former hosiery factory and maintains the building’s original facade. The main level houses silks, fashion jewelry, perfume and beauty, and Hermès’ hallmark equestrian products. Think saddles and brushes, perhaps more apropos to the Nashville area than, say, bustling midtown Manhattan.
Upstairs, customers will find shoes, ready-to-wear, as well as fine jewelry and watches. It’s not clear where the ever-elusive handbags will post.

References to music reverberate throughout the store. The terrazzo steps resemble the white keys of a piano. A leather goods display is encased in wood panels that look like an accordion.
As is typical for any Hermès boutique, artwork has been carefully curated from the Emil Hermès collection and the Hermès Collection of Contemporary Photographs. The windows have been treated to a sculptural display of local Nashville artist Herb Williams’ pieces, created for the opening. Known for creating uniquely textured 3D objects from crayons, the display here includes a large horse sculpture trotting through birch trees made of piano keys.

The Hermès Nashville boutique is located at 510 Houston St, May Hoisery Mills Building. It is open Tuesday through Sunday (yes, Sunday hours!)
