Goyard’s newest release is here. Meet the Hirondelle Bag, a design that seamlessly combines the Maison’s heritage with modern functionality.
Released in September 2024, the bag takes its name and distinctive half-moon shape from a traditional tool called the ‘Hirondelle,’ once used by artisans for leather cutting.
Crafted from a combination of Goyardine canvas with Chevroches calfskin accents throughout, the Hirondelle Bag measures 25 x 6 x 17 cm. It is compact and lightweight, yet offers a spacious zipped compartment for all your essentials. Its adjustable strap allows it to easily transition between a shoulder bag and a crossbody, making it a versatile choice for daily wear or travel.
With its structured yet relaxed design, the Hirondelle puts a modern twist on the popular hobo silhouette, combining timeless elegance with everyday functionality. We can see this style appealing to both men and women alike.
The Hirondelle Bag is available in 11 iconic shades: Black, Black/Tan, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Sky Blue, Navy Blue, Burgundy, White, and Grey—all paired with silver-tone hardware. It currently retails at 1,875 euros.
What are your thoughts on Goyard’s latest design? Will you be adding the Hirondelle to your collection?
