The Monde d’Hermès Kiosk has Officially Arrived in Austin, Texas

Hermès has reimagined the iconic Parisian newsstand, into their very own Le Monde d’Hermès kiosk. The globe-trotting immersive experience has previously landed in Prague during its debut, Barcelona, Singapore, Rotterdam, Tokyo, London, and most recently, Kuwait.

There’s good news for U.S.-based Hermès fans – the kiosk has finally arrived, and will be located in Austin, Texas, until May 15, 2023. The Hermès kiosk in Austin will be open to the public, showcasing the whimsical world of the iconic fashion brand. During the pop-up, you can explore the brand’s creativity, and curiosity through impressive displays and engaging conversations.

The fashion houses’ theme for 2023, is ‘Amazing Hermès’. At this playful pop-up, you can enjoy a variety of different activities on the terrace outside the vibrant orange kiosk. With Hermès board games, magicians, and illustrators, there’s something for everyone at this playful newsstand.

All visitors will also receive a copy of the latest edition of Le Monde d’Hermè, the luxury houses’ bi-annual publication. The magazine features exclusive content from the editors at Hermès and is packed with content and photographs from the latest collections. A must-have for any fan of the Maison.

Prior to the launch of the pop-up, Hermès hosted an event for local VIPs in Austin. As described by Melany Furlow who was lucky enough to attend the event…

“It was a blast! Yummy bites, lots of drinks flowing and H lovers connecting. The editor in chief of Le Monde d’ Hermes was in town and hosted a talk on “The Art of Astonishment” with two incredible local artists and the Associate Curator from the Blanton Art Museum. I think it’s fair to say all who attended were certainly astonished in all the best ways only Hermes can astonish us.” – @melany.af
