I don’t think so . . . To me, Hermes remains the premier brand. Chanel is much more accessible and there’s been a lot of weird stuff lately (cough, cough, girl bag).

i should reveal one more thing . . . I’m no spring chicken. . . I remember friends carrying army green bags covered with buttons and artwork. For me, the coco messengers were too literal. Does that change your views?

It wasn’t meant as a joke or in any way to degrade Bruce. He spoke about being out and about as a woman – typically that includes a bag. He’s been seen over the years – as a man – with backpacks and gym-type bags. He’s also tall. . . So I just started thinking . . .

SAs are saying that the Boy is here to stay as a classic. Then again, so is the GST and we’ve seen what happened with that. And, no bag is really an “investment”; a bag – Boy, Girl, 11.12, CF or anything else – will NOT fund your retirement.
