Is The Kelly Picnic Bag Being Discontinued?

I have been hearing lately that SA’s report that the Kelly Picnic is being discontinued! Is that true?

Hermès often retires certain bags for a period of time and then they often re-emerge several years later. Other times rumors are spread but offers of the bag are still being given. It is always difficult to say what is actually fact vs. fiction. Nevertheless, this is what we know to date.

A few community members have reported that their SA mentioned that the Kelly Picnic may be discontinued. Others report their SA say that they have not seen one in their location in quite a while. We do not have confirmation that the Picnic has been or has not been discontinued. We will update this information as it becomes available.

Birkin Sellier styles have been “retired” or discontinued for the time being and have been taken off the Special Order list as an option.

Kelly Pochettes have been rumored to be “discontinued” but we are still seeing offers of pochettes in the U.S. and Europe on social media. So either it is back stock that is being offered or the Pochette is still being produced.

Offers of Kelly Cuts are now being seen and reported on social media after being absent from boutique offers for several years. Be sure to put one on your wishlist if it is a style you desire.
