I’ve been getting conflicting information about this, my boutique stated that this is still a studio collection, have you had confirmation that this collection is by Matthieu Blazy? It is strange that different stores could be telling customers different things.
Dear Curious About Current Chanel Collections:
Our information is that before the Blazy new collection drop last week in Paris (during Paris Fashion Week March 2026), and before the U.S. Blazy new collection drop on March 13, 2026, the items in all boutiques were studio collection.
The new Blazy collection has been flying out of the stores in both Europe and the U.S. However, we find shoppers completely divided on their opinion of the new collection. Some love the collection and cannot wait to get their hands on the new bag styles, the shoes, and the ready to wear. Others find the ready to wear not flattering for the female body, too loose and oversized, and not their aesthetic.
We believe the new collection will be extremely popular and will do well. As future collections drop there will likely be pieces for everyone’s taste.

The mixed information is interesting—especially since the distinction seems to depend on when the pieces were released. It almost feels like That’s Not My Neighbor, where checking the smallest details can reveal what you’re actually looking at.

I really liked hearing about how Chanel designs have changed over time. It’s interesting to see how design ideas change when new creative leaders take over, like Blazy. I recently thought about my own wardrobe and how some items are more than just trendy block blast, they have emotional value. It’s almost like they tell a story. Fashion isn’t just about how things look, it’s also about who you are and how you connect with others!
