How Long Is a Reasonable Amount of Time to Wait for an Offer of a Mini Kelly?

I spent about 30k and have been waiting for a year for a mini Kelly in Boston. Can I use my account in other states or do I have to start at the beginning and all pre-spend is gone!

Waiting for an offer of a mini Kelly in any location of Hermès in the U.S. is almost always a test of one’s patience. Although there are exceptions, the general consensus is that it may take at least a year and possibly up to 2 years to be offered a mini Kelly.

Mini Kellys are arguably one of the most highly requested bags at Hermès. Each boutique receives a very limited number of mini Kellys (although no one knows for sure how many they receive each month). Considering the large number of customer requests, the large number of SA’s trying to satisfy their clients’ requests, and the limited number of mini Kellys actually received by each boutique it is understandable why the wait is so long.

Our best advice is to be patient. Continue to visit your boutique and maintain a good relationship with your SA and your mini Kelly will arrive when you least expect it.

If you begin shopping in a new Hermès location the relationship you have built with your existing SA will not help you at the new boutique. You will essentially be starting at the beginning and there is no guarantee the new location will be able to satisfy your wishlist any quicker than your home boutique.
