Choosing a color for a Birkin or Kelly during a leather appointment in Paris or at your home store is always difficult. Neutrals are the most popular and highly requested. Many people also love color and request their favorite color such as pink, blue, green, etc.
Unfortunately there is no way to predict whether it is “easier” to be offered a neutral color or a seasonal color bag. We do often see offers of the newest seasonal colors. But neutrals will always reign supreme for their classic and timeless allure, particularly for your first quota bag.
Our best advice is to start with your first choice color whether it is a neutral or a color. If there is a seasonal color that is on your wishlist definitely include that as well. It is a good idea to let your SA know that you are open to certain colors but also neutrals as well. Be specific about the size (20, 25, 28, 30, 32, 35), style (Birkin or Kelly), hardware (gold or palladium), and any other important details. It helps the SA to decide what to offer when they are presented with your preferences.
