What Happens If My Hermès SO Arrives This Year But I Already Received 2 Quota Bags?

If I have already received two quota bags in 2023 and my Special Order arrives this year, will I be able to purchase that bag as well?

Hermès has always had a 2 quota bag a year rule in all boutiques including Paris. Things have changed since Paris can now view your profile in your home store. In fact, last July the global linking of profiles began with the sole purpose of viewing how many quota bags a client has purchased.

With respect to receiving your Special Order (SO) bag after you have already received 2 quota bags this year, we suspect a manager will have to approve the purchase. It is likely an exception will be made and you will be allowed to purchase your SO if it arrives before the end of the year. If it arrives late in the year it is possible they will hold it until the new year and then allow you to make the purchase. It is at the sole discretion of the Manager of your home store to make that decision.

Before the profiles were linked globally, some locations did not count the Special Order towards your annual quota bag purchase. However, since the Pandemic all rules have changed. Hermès is strictly trying to enforce the 2 quota bag per year rule worldwide – to prevent people from obtaining multiple bags from different locations.
