Dear PurseBop:
Can you please review the Mors de Bride handbag. I was offered it in store but as I had never heard of it I was hesitant to accept. I would really appreciate your view of the bag itself, but also if you think long term it will hold its value.

Dear Curious About Mors de Bride Non Quota Bag:

The Hermès Mors de Bride bag is a newer bag recently introduced in 2021. In French, Mors de Bride means bridle bit. which is a steel rod inserted into the horse’s mouth also called a snaffle bit.  This bag comes in Chamkila goatskin. The snaffle bit inspired metal is crafted on the top of the bag while the body is made from leather. It has a minimalistic and simple design but is beautifully crafted.
This non-quota bag has a leather shoulder strap and a sliding closure mimicking the snaffle bit. There is an oval ring which assists the bag in opening and closing. The design is very chic, understated, and minimalistic. The bag measures 20.5cm x 17cm x 3.5cm and is priced in the 4500 euros range.
It is an excellent non-quota Hermès bag that is quite rare because it was introduced only a couple of years ago. It is unknown whether the value will increase on the resale market because this bag is not well known. However, it would make a nice addition to your collection if you love the look. Remember to buy only what you love and not for its investment value.
Good luck and happy shopping.
