Move over Birkins, I have a new crush ❤️
The fall/winter season always brings many exciting festivities. From roasting chestnuts on an open fire to lavish holiday parties. But I’ve got a reveal which may top all of that – enter Louis Vuitton’s new GAME ON Coeur Bag.
This quirky heart-shaped monogrammed accessory is from the house’s Cruise 2021 collection. Designed by Louis Vuitton’s womenswear director Nicolas Ghesquière, the collection is centred on reinterpreting LV’s classic Monogram motifs. Aptly named “GAME ON”, this offering for Cruise 2021 presents a house of cards aesthetic. Ghesquière combines symbols from a deck of playing cards into some of the house’s most iconic designs such as the Speedy and Dauphine bags.

However, one bag I had my eye on was the new Coeur Bag. Translated to English this means heart bag. It’s name is perfect since I have fallen in love!
When the collection’s campaign was launched earlier this year the Coeur Bag received a lot of attention! Owing to the style’s eye-catching shape combined with the appeal of the house’s classic Monogram, the Coeur Bag became the stand-out piece from the “GAME ON” collection. Now let’s get into the specifics of this new design!
The body of the bag is a structured heart shape in the house’s classic Monogram canvas with a natural cowhide leather trim. LV’s classic interlocking logo is featured alongside a small red heart in the left corner of the bag. The style features an adjustable strap which allows for both cross-body and shoulder carry making this style super versatile. A double zip closure runs along the top of the heart shape for easy access.
Priced at $2,100, the Coeur Bag will set you back considerably less than many of Vuitton’s leather crossbody offerings. The bag sports gold tone hardware and a microfibre lining.
We’ll discuss capacity more in another post and on IG, but for our inquiring minds, my Hermès Constance wallet fits perfectly but not much else.
