The LEGEND of my GOLDEN BOYS: A PICTURE BOOK
ONCE UPON A TIME… I assumed I really was not a BOY lover (let me clarify here, not a ‘CHANEL’ BOY LOVER) but for the December 2013 cruise season Chanel launched this limited edition ‘chateau boy’ that began a love affair… I knew right off the bat, this BOY would be more of a closet ornament to be cherished and would ‘make’ only formal appearances…
Then in December 2014 Chanel introduced this itsy bitsy BOY that quickly stole my heart and became the most ‘travelled’ companion piece in my collection making journeys to the Chanel Dallas-Paris métiers d’art show, Las Vegas, Miami and even to a far east yoga retreat… (thus it may also be the most photographed bag on my instagram)
Thinking I was content with my golden BOY collection I took this family picture a few months ago…
The flood of this season’s S/S colors kept me distracted long enough to let the early deliveries of this beauty slip through my fingers…BUT NO LONGER!
Presenting the finale of PurseBop’s GOLDEN BOY collection… the 14S metallic patent gold boy with shiny gold hardware in the medium size!
Of course I had to go back and re-take the formal family portrait:
and then was inspired to take many more family and individual shots, LOL
The family is now complete…
