The Birkin and Kelly bags may be Hermès’ biggest stars, but they’re hardly the only icons in the Maison’s repertoire. Look beyond the handbags and its equestrian heritage takes center stage in the Jumping Boot. First introduced in 1972, alongside Hermès’ debut women’s shoe collection, the silhouette has become one of the Maison’s defining footwear styles.

Defined by its tall, streamlined profile, low heel, and signature Kelly buckle, the Jumping Boot has proved something of a chameleon over the years. Hermès continues to rework the original equestrian silhouette through seasonal materials, embellishments, and subtle shifts in proportion. Shearling-adorned versions bring a winter-ready sensibility, while supple constructions offer a more relaxed interpretation of the classic shape. Embroidered iterations add a decorative twist, while the original calfskin version remains a forever favorite – here are six Jumping Boots to know this season.

Jumping Boot
The classic for a reason. Standing 16 inches tall (depending on the size) with a low heel of approximately 1 inch, the Hermès Jumping Boot offers the kind of coverage that has made it an enduring Fall-Winter staple. Beyond the essential Noir, Hermès offers it in a range of rich neutrals and autumnal shades, including Étoupe, Marron Ébène, Marron Muschio, and Bordeaux, all finished with a palladium-plated Kelly buckle. The classic Jumping Boot retails for $3,500.

Jumping Boot Panoplie Equestre
Hermès brings its Panoplie Equestre motif to the Jumping Boot, using intricate embroidery to give the tall silhouette a decorative finish. An extension of the Fall-Winter 2025 collection, the design adds texture and visual interest while retaining the clean lines of the classic boot. Available in Noir with contrasting stitching, the Panoplie Equestre Jumping Boot retails for $4,350.

Jumping Boot Shearling Chevron
For a winter-ready take on the classic, Hermès pairs calfskin with plush shearling in a distinctive chevron pattern. The textural treatment gives the tall Jumping Boot a warmer feel, while retaining its sleek silhouette. Available in Black and Gold, each paired with contrasting shearling, the style is priced at $8,200.

Jumping Shorter Boot
Prefer a boot that sits a little lower on the leg? The Jumping Shorter Boot brings the same silhouette to a shorter cut, measuring 14.2 inches from the sole to the top of the boot. For Fall-Winter 2026, the classic design gets an elevated look in quilted Nappa leather, with diagonal stitching detail. Available in Noir, Rouge H, and Étoupe, the Jumping Shorter Boot retails for $4,050.

High Boot
Or you can take the Jumping Boot over your knees, with the thigh high style. Debuting for Fall-Winter 2026, the High Boot extends the Maison’s equestrian codes into a dramatic over-the-knee silhouette, crafted from supple calfskin with a classic almond toe. Priced at $4,550, the High Boot brings a bold new proportion to Hermès’ equestrian-inspired footwear.

Jumping Boot Supple
Not every Jumping Boot has to stand at attention. The Jumping Boot Supple version uses supple calfskin that allows the boot to gently drape down the leg. The signature Kelly buckle keeps a touch of polish, while the easygoing shape feels less formal than the original. Available in Gold and Noir calfskin, as well as Marron Ébène and Étoupe suede goatskin, all retailing for $3,500.
