July is my favorite month of the year… bursting with celebrations of birthdays and anniversaries. From NYC to Chicago: ‘home sweet home…’
We made it back from the ‘big apple’ just in time for the long weekend casual BBQ’s and relaxation– a dramatic change of pace. The backdrop for my 4thof July presentation is my ‘inaugural vegetable patch’ at the back of my yard. Gardening is by no means new to me, but this is my first attempt at growing organic veggies and herbs! There is nothing quite like strolling to the back to pluck some fresh basil, mint, oregano or cilantro…chutney’s and pestos have reached a whole new level of deliciousness!
