Murakami Cerises: 20 Years Later, Bigger & Bolder
First released in 2005, the Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Cerises collection became one of the brand’s most iconic collaborations—instantly recognizable for its whimsical red cherries scattered across classic Monogram canvas.

Now, 20 years later, the beloved motif is back – with a juicy twist. In the 2025 revival, the cherries are bolder, always appear in pairs, and have been slightly enlarged for extra impact. This time, the motif lands not only on classic Monogram canvas but also on a fresh white Monogram colorway. A new denim fabrication joins the mix, with the Monogram denim adorned with the playful fruit, bringing a full dose of Y2K energy.
Getting the cheery cherry Monogram treatment in 2025 are the Speedy 20, Pochette Metis East-West, Side Trunk, Mini Bumbag, and Alma BB in canvas. Meanwhile, the Coussin PM, Sunset Bag, and Neverfull BB debut in Monogram denim. Rounding out the range is a luxurious range of Capucines bags, offered in everything from smooth leather to exotic skins.

Let’s take a closer look at seven standout Cerise-clad designs from this final chapter of the Murakami collaboration.
Speedy 20
Lovers of the original collection may have been disappointed that the iconic Speedy 30 didn’t make a comeback; however, there’s a new petite and playful offering set to steal the spotlight in this refreshed lineup. The Speedy 20 captures the essence of the 2005 collection, but with a contemporary twist. Crafted from the classic Monogram canvas, it’s adorned with multiple pairs of cherries. A standout update to the design is the Vachetta leather bow clochette – a signature element of the Murakami Multicolore and Cherry Blossom collections.

Exclusively available in the 20 cm size (8.1 x 5.3 x 4.7 inches), it’s perfectly sized for your daily essentials. The Speedy 20 is secured with a two-way zippered fastening and comes in the Bandoulière format, complete with a removable shoulder strap for easy crossbody, shoulder, or handheld wear. Priced at $2,870, the LV x Takashi Murakami Speedy 20 is exclusively available in classic Monogram.

Pochette Metis East-West
The ever-so-practical Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis receives the Cerise treatment in the sleek East-West format. One of the few bags crafted from the new White and Gray Monogram canvas, this design offers a bold alternative to the classic.

Retaining the signature features of the original Pochette Metis, including the S-lock fastening and Vachetta trim, this version offers an elongated silhouette measuring 8.5 x 5.3 x 2.4 inches. Versatile and functional, it comes with two removable shoulder straps – an adjustable Vachetta leather strap with a drop ranging from 11.4 to 17.7 inches, and a delicate gold-tone chain. The Pochette Metis East-West is priced at $3,500 and comes exclusively in the White Monogram canvas.

Neverfull Inside Out BB
Channeling serious Y2K vibes, the Neverfull Inside Out BB is reimagined in Monogram denim, featuring an embroidered Cerise design. Famed for its reversible design, this revived version of the Neverfull, introduced as the ‘Inside Out’ design, can be reversed to reveal a luxurious leather interior. In this case, the inside is as much a statement as the outside, with a striking cherry red interior, offering two looks in one bag.

The bag comes with a matching detachable denim pochette, ideal for securing your essentials, or to style along as a mini pouch. Capucines: Standout Styles with a Cherry Twist
The Capucines collection has long been a canvas for artistic interpretation. Among the various styles in the 2025 Cerise revival, these three cherry-inspired versions stand out.
First up, the Capucines Mini offers a sweet update on the classic design. Crafted from smooth, bright white lambskin leather, the compact silhouette is dotted with vibrant red cherries. Shiny gold-tone hardware completes the look, with the signature LV emblem featuring an enamel cherry detail.

Measuring just 8.3 x 5.4 x 3.1 inches, the Capucines Mini transitions effortlessly from day to night. Carry it by the structured top handle for a polished feel, or use the delicate leather interwoven chain strap for hands-free wear. The Capucines Mini retails for $6,850.

The next pick of the bunch is the Louis Vuitton Capucines Mini, primed for summer picnics. Handwoven from rattan, this unique design forgoes traditional cowhide leather in favor of Cherry-adorned Monogram denim, adding a fruity twist to the classic silhouette. The bag is finished with a cherry red leather top handle and enamel LV initials, complemented by gold-tone hardware.

A detachable leather interwoven chain shoulder strap offers versatile styling, allowing you to carry it on your shoulder or by hand. Exclusively available in the Mini size, the bag measures 5.5 x 8.3 x 3.1 inches and features four protective feet for added durability. This statement accessory is priced at $6,750.

Last but not least, for those who love the Murakami Cerises but prefer a more subtle approach, the Capucines MM offers a stylish blend of playful charm and understated elegance. Crafted from delicately grained Black Taurillon leather, this version of the Capucines retains its classic sophistication, with a twist.

The standout feature is the gold-tone chain that adorns the front, designed with Monogram Flowers and scattered enamel cherries in between. This unique chain not only acts as a bag charm but also serves as a practical top handle. Plus, the chain is removable, offering the classic Capucines look when you want to keep it simple, or you can mix and match the chain with other bags. Measuring 12.4 x 7.9 x 4.3 inches, the Capucines MM offers ample space for your essentials while maintaining its refined silhouette. Inside, you’ll even find a pop of Monogram denim cherry print. The Capucines MM with cherry-adorned chain is priced at $8,050.
