Louis Vuitton brings the heat and the Damier to Place Georges-Pompidou as Pharrell Williams unveils the Men’s Spring-Summer 2026 Collection. Presented outside the Centre Pompidou, the show transformed the iconic plaza into a giant game of Snakes and Ladders. Snakes, check. Ladders? Not quite — unless you count the Pompidou’s architectural rollercoaster of escalators. Designed by architect Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai, the playful set became what the house described as “a veritable playground, immersing the audience as players in this metaphorical construct of possibility.”

Snakes and ladders, of course, originated in India — the country that served as the heart and soul of this collection. Pharrell first visited in 2018, and returned earlier this year with the Louis Vuitton design team, traveling through Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur. “We make fashion, but we’re a house of travel,” he told Vogue — and this season, that ethos was front and center.

Bags led the narrative, evoking the spirit of cinematic rail journeys and wanderlust-filled trunks. Most notably, The Darjeeling Limited luggage, originally introduced during Marc Jacobs’ tenure, was revived and reimagined with a fresh lens.

The collection matched the sense of movement and escape, with breezy layers, relaxed cotton suiting, shorts, and lightweight jackets. A sun-faded palette of turmeric, indigo, dusty pink, and coffee-dyed denim set the tone, while intricate embroidery, stone embellishments, and gem-studded accessories suggested a journey from Paris to India.

With bags front and center this season, we’ve sifted through the lineup to spotlight the must-haves from Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2026 show.
Louis Vuitton Reissues The Darjeeling Limited Luggage
One of the most iconic pieces of film-fashion crossover is back on the runway — and back on track. Originally designed by Marc Jacobs for Wes Anderson’s 2007 film The Darjeeling Limited, Louis Vuitton’s monogrammed animal-print luggage set returns with Pharrell’s fresh take for Spring-Summer 2026. The whimsical prints of elephants, zebras, giraffes, and palm trees now appear not only on the original brown calfskin but also reimagined across classic Damier canvas designs, as well as embroidered denim pieces.
Pharrell expands the collection far beyond the original luggage to include the Christopher backpack, Sac Plat, Nil Bag, Speedy, and even matching suits and shoes. All pieces feature the signature white numbered details originally seen in the film, with the character’s initials swapped out for the letters “LV.”

The Many Faces of the Speedy
Pharrell’s now-signature Speedy returns this season in a variety of forms, each one reworked to reflect the collection’s global, sun-faded journey.
Speedy P9 Bandoulière
Pharrell’s signature Speedy P9 Bandoulière returns for Spring-Summer 2026 in an expanded range of sizes — from the ultra-compact Nano and the popular 25, all the way up to a grand 40. This season, rich purples and varying shades of blue dominate the palette, with leather iterations forgoing the iconic white monogram print in favor of shimmering gold.
Pharrell also broadens the exotic lineup with ostrich leather versions showcased in blue and lilac, featuring sun-faded tone-on-tone monograms. Rounding off the lineup is the Speedy P9 in the classic brown and Vachetta colorway, elevated with ostrich leather and finished with a glittering gold monogram.

Carpet-Inspired Speedys
This season, the Speedy is reimagined in lush, carpet-inspired forms featuring rich tapestry work rooted in Indian textile traditions. Embroidered with intricate botanical patterns and adorned with creatures like monkeys, frogs, and peacocks, the bags evoke the feel of a storied heirloom collected on a journey.

Striped Speedys
Several striped Speedy designs make a strong showing this season, all featuring distinctive stripes in a warm palette of browns and beiges. Crafted primarily in smooth leather, these bags maintain the iconic Speedy silhouette while adding a fresh, graphic twist through their varied painterly stripe patterns. While the handles are darker than the usual Vachetta, each bag features a subtle hint of aged Vachetta on the luggage tag and clochette. Sizes range from the ultra-compact Nano to the roomy Speedy 35, offering options for every occasion. Each design is finished with the signature white ‘L.Vuitton’ graphic lettering, tying the collection together. Fittingly, Pharrell gifted Beyoncé a Nano version straight off the runway, setting the tone for the bag’s inevitable must-have status.

Gem-Encrusted Keepall
A standout on the runway was a single Keepall richly adorned with decorative gems arranged in symmetrical, ornate patterns inspired by traditional Indian craftsmanship. Crafted in smooth green leather with dark green leather in place of the Vachetta, this jeweled design transformed the classic travel bag into a dazzling statement piece.

The New East-West Keepall Style
A fresh silhouette joined Louis Vuitton’s travel lineup this season — a slim, elongated design that reimagines the house’s heritage codes. Presented in smooth, monogram-free leather in deep brown with Vachetta accents, as well as an all-black variation, the east-west shape and long handles make it easy to wear under the arm or on the shoulder.
A similar canvas version also appeared, blending familiar elements from classic Louis Vuitton shapes like the Papillon, yet offering a distinctly modern twist with its sleek proportions and softened structure.

Smooth Leather Utility Lineup
Expanding from the new east-west style, this season offers a broader selection of monogram-free bags. The Keepall Cargo Bandoulière, Nil Bag, and Christopher Backpack appeared in warm-toned browns and deep black, all crafted in smooth leather. Featuring slouchy silhouettes and utilitarian cargo pockets, the designs strike a balance between refined and practical. Sleek silver-tone hardware adds a polished touch, and the finishing flourish? A quirky little frog cadenas, hopping onto the scene.

Shopper Tote
Since making its debut under Pharrell’s direction, the Louis Vuitton Shopper Tote has quickly become a house staple — reappearing each season in new textures, colorways, and proportions. This time, the classic shape is reinterpreted in a rigid canvas fabrication rather than the usual leather. The lineup includes a rich brown canvas with leather-appliqued lettering and matching leather straps, offering a polished yet casual vibe. Taking it up a notch is an ecru canvas version, upgraded with croc leather handles and the signature leather logo. Rounding out the collection is a fully luxe iteration in shiny So Black crocodile.

New to the lineup is a satchel-inspired silhouette, showcased in both Imperial Saffron with blue and a striking So Black leather finish. Featuring a simple flap design and bold Louis Vuitton lettering across the front, the style was clutched casually on the runway, despite its long shoulder strap.

Woven Damier
This season introduces a new woven Damier pattern inspired by handcrafted plastic totes, transformed into an oversized plaid design. Pharrell’s signature “Marque Vuitton Déposée” lettering adds a bold graphic edge. The print debuted on the Shopper Tote in vibrant turquoise, alongside a vivid yellow version that echoes the silhouette of archival Louis Vuitton holdalls like the Icare and Alizé bags. However, the extended zipper and top-handle attachments feel more reminiscent of the Hermès Plume.

Ombré Damier Denim
Pharrell’s love for Damier denim is no secret — the textured checkered pattern has been a defining motif, especially throughout the Pre-Fall 2025 collection. This season, the classic fabric gets a fresh update with a striking ombré effect. The gradient plays across key pieces like the Speedy Bandoulière and yoga bags, in striking shades of purple, as well as classic blue denim.

Suede Tote
The suede tote from Fall/Winter 2025 returns this season, carrying forward its utilitarian-inspired design. Showcased in supple khaki and brown suede, it features a patch pocket with contrast stitching reminiscent of a jeans pocket, a leather top handle, and a relaxed, slouchy silhouette.

Steamer
Pharrell first reintroduced the iconic 1901 Steamer silhouette in Fall/Winter 2024, and now it returns for Spring-Summer 2026. This season, it made a single runway appearance in glossy deep blue crocodile leather, accented with striking shiny silver-tone hardware.

Soft Trunks
Styled handheld on the runway, this season’s Soft Trunks arrive in rich new shades including deep forest green and vibrant coral red. Crafted in glossy crocodile, each boxy silhouette is finished with gold-tone, luggage-inspired hardware.

Frog Bags
The frog emerged as a charming and recurring motif this season, inspired by Pharrell’s visit to architect Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai. The garden’s lively chorus of frogs left a lasting impression that echoed throughout the collection.
Two standout bags brought this amphibian inspiration to life. One is a hard-sided trunk shaped like a frog’s head, secured with an S-lock closure – blending playful design with Louis Vuitton craftsmanship. The other is a soft canvas piece, crafted from intricately assembled panels, featuring aged Vachetta leather accents and gold-tone studded eyes.

Elephant Trunk
Beyond the froggy friends, an elephant-shaped trunk bag makes a bold entrance this season. Crafted from Monogram canvas, this hard-sided briefcase-style features Vachetta details, including the elephant’s ear, and a sturdy top handle. Secured with an S-lock closure, a small brass stud acts as the elephant’s eye, while reinforced metal corners trim the trunk and feet.

Maxi Trunks
Maxi trunks remain a centerpiece of the LV lineup, blending heritage with Pharrell’s fresh, playful spirit.
This season’s oversized offerings feature prints paired with symmetrical, studded embellishments that echo paisley patterns, capturing an ornate Indian-inspired aesthetic. In stark contrast, bold acrylic trunks in fuchsia and vibrant purple featured the signature monogram, while a standout dice-inspired design brought the snakes and ladders runway to life.
