Reading Purse Bop’s Birkin vs Kelly debate has been really helpful. Please let me know your thoughts as well as size!
I only have preference for leather as of right now. I just started my own H collection a few months ago (consisting of 2 B35). I am leaning towards yet another B35 because I enjoy the size. However, part of me feels like I should step out of my comfort zone with a smaller size or even a K.
My appointment is tomorrow and the clock is ticking! HELP.

Do let us know what you decide! I think chèvre is the way to go, only problem is there are limited offerings in that leather this time around! Do you like blue? There’s a gorgeous shade called blue hydra being offered in chèvre! Let me see if I have the color search on my phone to share here ?

Have not been given the privilege of a lovely SO yet, but it’s coming soon I think! I would agree with BirkinBabe – maybe do a 30 or 25 B in chèvre if the colors suit your tastes. That’s not too far out of your comfort zone to regret it and maybe get a K just as a regular purchase at some point so you can really see if you love one bc they are so different. Many congrats and it’s lovely you were able to get a coveted SO so early in your H journey of collecting! ???????

I currently own black with ghw and orange poppy with ghw. I feel like I have both a classic color and a crazy color. I feel torn about which direction to go for my SO. While I love bright colors, too many colors may be hard to style. On the other hand, I don’t want it to be too plain.-
I think a cooler toned color with PHW might be a neat choice then?! To be diff than the others in your collection? I find my bright bags are easy to style and I literally just got a black bag in Paris at Saint Laurent after many years of not owning one ????. I think bi-colors that have white or craie as an option and then set off by another brighter color is really stellar and unique looking.

Oh WOW! How exciting. Let me try to give you some advice. I have been collecting H for several years now, yikes!
I would pick a leather like chèvre that is not available to just walk in and buy. I would also consider trying a B30 or even a B25 for nights out. I don’t know if your lifestyle is casual or dressy. Kelly’s are all the rage at the moment but certainly not for everyone.
Have you seen colors available for SO yet?

Thank you for such a quick reply, Miss BirkinBabe! I keep seeing the word “chevre”, but didn’t really understand what kind of leather it is. I will definitely keep an eye out for those colors
My lifestyle is extremely casual and so is my style (https://www.instagram.com/vintagedolls/). I was considering the B30 because 35 gets quite heavy; or the B25 because I absolutely ADORE mini sizes. How convenient are those sizes in terms of taking things in/out?
The Kelly’s detachable strap is what I like. Though, I feel as if having to close the bag all the time become somewhat of a hindrance.
I actually haven’t visited my home store in months due to finals, so I am even more surprised about the SO. I am looking at all the colors tomorrow! I am certain that I want more than one color, but none of the colors from last season appealed to me.Also, I would like to know more of your thoughts of Chevre and which of the two you prefer!

Yes! I chose chevre based on BirkinBabe’s suggestion. Slightly disappointed with the limited chevre colors because I wanted a pink and I feel like the options were difficult to coordinate :/ and YES WOW, how did you know B30? (Well, you are THE pursebop for a reason)
How long have you been waiting for yours? My first 24hours just started and it already feels like foreverrrrrrr
