Depending on what type of leather/bag, I find meltonian all purpose cleaner and conditioner or the lexol leather ph wipes works well for me. But always test on a small unnoticeable area first just in case.

I generally love colours so if I’m wearing black, I’d like my bag to pop against it like red, fuchsia or purple. Metallics in gold or silver also works.
- favloves replied 11 years ago
Given it’s for work and ur wardrobe preference, although both colours are equally versatile, I’d prefer black. Classic and timeless. Especially love greys with black.

I am in LOVE with this pic!

Birkin…. because it’s birkin.. lol jk… because honestly I dont know, birkin for me has different charm than kelly.. But it doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t buy kelly. I still want to have them in many different colors ;)

Hi hi BirkinBabe. It’s my first day here too. I’m sure we’ll have lots of fun :D
- favloves replied 11 years ago
Some pics I have saved on my phone I’ll share of ghillies
- PurseBop replied 11 years ago
I think it’s fun and brilliant… more reasons to buy shoes lol… My skin is pretty fair and I’ll still buy the darker brown
- thepinkmarigold replied 11 years ago
My dear friend (and Hermes guru) WELCOME! I am soooo excited to see you here. We are going to enjoy lively conversations here about all things H, LOL (I just know it) I have only had the opportunity to see this in person once in Anemone. I would love one someday! I think ghillies is beautiful in the larger sizes meaning at least a K32 & B35. With so much detail a little more surface area looks great :)
What are you contemplating dear? Is there one in your near horizon?
- Pursebop replied 11 years ago
Totally into micro bags at the moment..so a vote for the micro!
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
I like the distinction! Overall I think I tend to say I “wear” my bags
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
I have mixed feelings with this one…
- thepinkmarigold replied 11 years ago
I haven’t really had much personal experience or exposure to the kelly ghillies, but my initial thoughts: YAY! I think the trim gives a nice touch to the bag for an elevated look
Do you have any specific colors in mind?
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
Chamkegi it’s not impossible. Ok girls, firstly it’s imperative to find a SA at Hermes to work with. You must establish a healthy relationship with one. Rarely does anyone just walking in get’ offered’ anything. Have you done this dear?

the mosaic collection is simply one of the most beautiful collections I have ever seen, in my opinion!!! they´re all SO beautiful I cant even choose a favorite (even between classic and Boy)…I want ALL of them LOL!!!

- thepinkmarigold replied 11 years ago
Chamkegi a warm welcome to you! It’s an honor to have you here at BopTalk! Loved that you just jumped right in! Hugs to you XO
Ahhh the first Birkin dreams, they are to be cherished! Do you have a color in mind love?
- Pursebop replied 11 years ago
Wear my Chanels, and carry my H bags! But I confess I am really enjoying the carrying more than wearing at the moment, does that make sense?
- Pursebop replied 11 years ago
Depends Chanelaholic, I carry my B’s. I don’t buy as many wear bags anymore. Do you mean like over the shoulder?
- Guest replied 11 years ago
Hi Chamkegi! Welcome to Boptalk. Today is my first day too :)
Let me help you if I may?
Is this going to be your first B? Do you have a store you work with?
- Guest replied 11 years ago
thepinkmarigold I have yet to buy a Celine! I am so often tempted, but somehow some other bag takes precedence on my wish list. I am starting to diversify my collection now, as for years I was only stuck on Chanel. I think it will always be my first LOVE but in Celine I personally have imagined myself with a mini luggage. I think it would be fabulous for travel :)
Which do you prefer?
- Pursebop replied 11 years ago
Let me extend a warm welcome to you dear BirkinBabe. I am the one honored to have you here at BopTalk. Thank you for your kind words. I too am a little nervous but together as a family we will learn the ropes & enjoy! I must first say to you and all the others just signing in that there is no wrong here. Just be yourself and share anything you feel like. If we make a mistake, so be it! This is not an exam, this for all of us to share and enjoy. It’s natural to have a little anxiety when trying something new, but I promise you there is nothing to fear. We are all friends here. I just want to see you all here having fun! Welcome love, and do share with your friends please!
Love PurseBop
XO

welcome to BopTalk ❤️

My life is casual with kids, so special occasion doesn’t happen as much as I would like. So for me, “soccer mom” lifestyle commands everyday bags = big money = B’s
- Guest replied 11 years ago
I never have, except by the color? Do you mean like PurseBop has miss Cinderlego etc?
- Guest replied 11 years ago
Wow, this is so much fun, hello Chanelaholic!I am an avid Hermes collector and have been for years. I have bought many B’s and K’s when they were 5-7K. I know I am dating myself here :(
I was at Hermes (had to drive to nearest city) to preview a Birkin 35 I special ordered and nearly fell over when they told me it was 11,900 plus tax. Sadly I am feeling priced out by Hermes too. It’s very hard to justify 13K for a bag when I have spent 6K on the same 5-6 years ago. I read about Chanel prices in Europe going up. Have they here to?
- Guest replied 11 years ago
It’s about time someone did this. I have olive skin and the peachy tones that serve as “nudes” for blondes certainly do not blend with my feet!
- maroon5 replied 11 years ago
I desperately want the all black one! what season is that from?
- maroon5 replied 11 years ago
I don’t but maybe I should. Or just call them by their price tags!
