I’m a hardcore BIRKIN fan. I don’t think the look can possibly get any better. And as for the strap of the Kelly, it’s too thin to be practical anyway, IMO!

I don’t really agree with aspects of this chart.

I tend to go less expensive and more trendy with my special occasion bags, however I will splurge for a good high quality everyday bag.

I don’t but I may start doing so!

For my needs, investing in everyday wear will always be a priority. For my personal male style, I don’t think I need a special occasion bag per say. But, maybe investing in a few versatile special occasion clothes and accessories is the way to go. The rest of the priority should be on everyday in my eyes.

absolutely love your metallic petite malle! Keep it close, I would totally grab it from you if I could haha.

I don’t forecast the Boy Bag looking outdated in the long run at ALL! While it’s not the classic flap, the lines on the boy bag and its general structure are still clean and timeless. Chanel Boy Bag should be considered a “recent classic” if you ask me.

Birkin just on the basis of the classic, iconic image. No doubt Kelly is up there. The hardware and flap details on the Birkin just surpass the Kelly’s for me.

I feel like the upcoming financial stats for Chanel will only tell if they made the right move with this scheme. They are thinking numbers and marketing more than anything else.

Of course it’s a personal blow to my ego and my wallet, but I can respect where Hermes is coming from as a brand so I’m sympathetic to them keeping the prices lower in Europe.

any insight on delvaux for men?

Will do some more in person deliberating, but I see a nappa in my near future if all goes well :) *fingers crossed*

Too add to my original thoughts, I know the Rodeo charms are a little easier to digest, I see why some people wouldn’t take the fendi monsters seriously. Does anyone know any other brands popular for their bag charms?
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
Leaning towards the boy wallet personally!
this review might be helpful to you :)

I like the idea of the handpainted hermes. I just don’t admire kim :(

I do tend to see a lot of LV in LA/Cali in general…Chanel is rising in popularity as well. However, I think we look for what we’re most into anyway so I might be bias

I love excess more than anyone else! I feel like I’m in the 15-20 range of designer bags right now..will change in the future i’m sure LOL :)

Not my pic, but cobalt blue/blue is my power color, and I’ve been YSL obsessed lately.

I feel like I mostly stick among the premium core. However, I can’t call myself a bag aficionado if I don’t move up and down the ladder. I’ll take them all LOL

Maybe a louis vuitton eva clutch. I see they’re popular among the younger crowd, and run around $775
