The Drew is definitely a bag that I would put on my fall wish list! There’s something so striking about the hardware, and like you said, I can imagine it going with so many different types of outfits. I really love the contrast materials, but my favorite color is the black or nude pinky/blush color. The bag overall has such a fresh look.
Thank you for sharing, absolutely love that picture :)

Fits right in with grandma’s antique “sofa” and looks totally relevant in fashion industry like only Chanel bag can.

That’s beautiful collection you’ve got! I collect different brands too as each brand has their classic pieces which I love! Some of my fave are Chanel classic, boy and 2.55, Hermes B & K, Celine Trapeze just to name a few :).

Interesting tidbit about the orange box. I would love to see the original box. Also, who knew there were so many sizes!

Definitely all the bright colored bags for summer!
I think my favorite of all this summer has been my lipstick pink SLP Sac du jour bag :)
Pink goes with almost any outfit and the bag itself is so versatile (can wear it with shoulder strap or satchel style) and functional (lot of space and pockets).
The second go-to bag is my newest SLP addition, the beautiful metallic gold WOC. WOC is lightweight, easy to match with any outfit (even with my workout outfit to gym!). Whereas Chanel WOC is more expensive, too classic (except special edition ones) and needs extra care on leather ( Lambskin), I found the Saint Laurent’s WOC more appealing and guilty free to wear it everywhere. ;)

Good thread, Morgan! ?. I love my Gucci Flora hobo for the spring/summer and because I love the surprising versatility, I have never really invested in a plain white bag or anything. I wear a lot of jewel tones and brights during the summer that compliment the blue tone in the bag. It’s canvas with leather trim, which I love and the hardware makes it nice to dress up if I need to. I can fit a sippy cup, makeup bag, wallet, sunglasses case, and more in there! I loved the story behind the Flora print – Guccio Gucci created it for Grace Kelly. Originally in multi colors, in 2008 they did a series of Flora bags and shoes that were blue, red, or green. I finally found the shoes to match after years of searching – I always regretted not getting them at S5thAve when I purchased the bag! ☀️☀️??

Very beautiful collection! I love different brands for sure. I love chanel, hermes, dior, lv mostly. I try to buy things that would stay in style for a long time, such as classic pieces from all brands, lady diors, classic flaps, birkin and kellys…

I wonder if my thoughts will sound just as lucid in the morning. Some late night musing, anyone feels the same way?
There is so much injustice in the world, from tainted milk powder, inhumane poaching, unfair mining practices, child slavary/labour, the list goes on. From the First World to the Third World. Categorically speaking, I do not condone animal cruelty of any form. Nor do I sanction wildlife hunting in the name of sport.
Down any supply chain, there will always be errant unscrupulous suppliers and Brands must, and should have sound and ethical procurement standards. Ostriches hurt too. Wagyu, foie gras, or sharksfin, by any other name, is what it is. Think Ivory Coast, have we stopped eating chocolates? (By this reference, I tear for the plight of the little hands on cocoa farms.)
Our consumption is personal, and we choose (responsibly) what we feel and think it’s right. I appreciate the beauty of croco, and rejoice on sight of my girlfriends’ lovely gator bags, but the husband prefers that I not consume exotic leathers. Instead, he would buy me jewellery, and this brings us yet to another topic of fair and sustainable gems and materials mining. As with free speech, there are choices. Life is full of electives, and we make them personal, respectfully.
The truth is – can we handle the truth – that the said Farm (and more of its kind that possibly also fell through the cracks) could have supplied skins to all the luxury Brands known and adored worldwide, as well.
We are all part of the urban food chain, with thousand shades of grey, and we cannot afford to be fatalistic. Unfortunately, the glaring spot is focussed on Hermes at this point in time. A call for ethical, sustainable, respectable sourcing that is vigilantly governed for compliance, arduous as it will be. So I say, the name doesn’t matter. It (the Birkin) is The Bag. The Internet is powerful, and if (all) the Brands are sitting up, and reading all the voices now, I urge them to do the right thing, and we can’t go far wrong.

Lovely collection.
I have many brands. I started off with Tod’s, Prada and Gucci, reasonable prices on leather bags on sale. Then I ventured into Marc Jocobs and Kate Spade for fun colors and quirky designs. I ended up with Chanel which is the one brand I truely love because of the interwoven chain bag my mom gave me when I was a little girl. I’ve always known I’d purchase at least one Chanel bag. I didn’t know I would end up having five and not dobe with it yet. I’m drooling over Hermes Kelly and I’m interested in LV Speedy 25 and Keepall. So many brands. LoL.

Love all the purchases!!!! The detail in the Salzburg bag is amazing! And I’m really getting into the Diorama – it’s such a lovely bag! You got a great Parisian haul especially during sale! Jealous, lol. I need to do a reveal of the rest of my haul I got in May that hubs picked up when he was there right at the beginning of July. ??

I feel like it was a publicity thing maybe?! She’s kind of a hot mess as StyledGuy says! I don’t care who you are, actress, celebrity, a CEOs wife, anyone – you do not tell Hermes to do ANYTHING. ????. As we all know, they do what they please and we are but loyal subjects. I have a vintage alligator Kelly from 1987 that’s dear to me, and my gator Ricky and I’m ok with owning them because I know where the alligator was sourced, etc. I don’t think I could buy fur these days and prefer the amazing alternative – shearling! It’s amazing, they can dye it to look like anything and its very sumptuous. ??????

You have such a lovely collection!! I have many brands and no real favorite, but I am one to really appreciate the heritage of a brand – Coco and Lagerfeld, Valentino, YSL, Givenchy and Audrey, the houses of LV and Hermes, upstart Ralph Lauren. So I like investing in the story and appreciate the craftsmanship of the people who made the items. I first bought a vintage Gucci basic navy logo small doctor bag with my tax return whilst in college. It paved the way for the Gucci Flora hobo, then my first Ricky, then my lovely hubs started my Hermes addiction and first Chanel pieces! It’s really hard for me to choose favorites! I’ve evolved a bit though – I’m not as into LV bags, but love their hard sided pieces and I love Chanel’s smaller bags, runway pieces, and WOCs but not so much the basics. I’m starting to want more unique pieces in my collection – for instance, I would never want a black Birkin or a beige Chanel double flap like I I once coveted. I appreciate them as classics and their versatility, but I’m just getting more adventurous! ?. That, and I’m not afraid to spend the money on a fun color because I realized I’m all about the colors! ??
