Agreed. PETA is a disgrace.. total joke and when you do look up the facts it’s disturbing. From killing animals they save to using porn stars to promote their company. Hermes actually put out a statement saying that those pics weren’t from their farm. It wouldn’t surprise me if PETA/Jane Birkin tried blackmailing Hermes for some money.. it smells like a big publicity stunt to promote Peta’s horrendous Vegan bags ???

At the end of the day people like Jane Birkin can’t pick and choose which animals they want to save. Either wear faux/canvas bags or NO leathers at all!! You can’t say “oh no.. I would never support for exotics!” While wearing your leathet bag. Beyond stupid.

It’s a total must have for me. I love to carry one in my work tote as a wallet and then I use it as a crossbody when I’m out to lunch. They are also perfect for errands or as evening clutches. So versatile.

I am very respectful of other peoples choices when shopping, but personally i don’t buy or wear exotics or fur. I love animals and it makes me sad to think about them suffering or dead because of a fashion choice that i make. (I confess i am particularly sensitive to crocodile) But that is my very personal feeling so i don’t judge anybody who does it. In Jane Birkins case i understand her preoccupation and am really respectful about her choice too.
