I posted in the intro thread that I’ll be in Paris. My question is how should I present myself to an SA. I have had issues in the past where I’ve been all done up in designer clothes and have been scoffed at or looked at as if I have 3 heads for asking about birkins. I’ve been to Hermes stores across the country, Nyc, philly, Miami, la, Vegas. The only store that ever offered me anything was LA and I was dressed in workout clothes because I had just finished doing Runyon. I’ve dressed up and down and with no luck haven’t really met a friendly SA. I’m young and I feel as if they don’t take my inquiry seriously. I’ve even had a manager tell me that birkins are for a certain “type” of clientele and that I should “save my money for my college tuition” even though I manage a highly successful company. I’m not sure if any one else has had these experiences but if someone could give advice I’ll be in Paris and hopefully will purchase a birkin. Help! Haha

Hi I have two va va vooms – black and leopard print calf hair. I love them both so much but I think I prefer the glam lock bag in the lighter colour. You’ll love either.
You can fit a longer wallet, keys and phone in the va va voom It’s quite spacey for a smaller bag Love to hear what you get xx

love your picks StyledGuy :) I sincerely can´t pick a favorite bag, I love all my babies… but my top 3 would be my Hermès Kelly Wallet, my vintage Chanel flap and my Valentino Glam lock… I´ll most them later (it´s 3am in Brazil lol), ok?
- PatiEv replied 11 years ago

- PatiEv replied 11 years ago
Like I said on the featured post, it´s very hard to choose between a B and a K… but I´m team Kelly due to the shoulder strap…love keeping my hands free :)
- PatiEv replied 11 years ago
Currently on Team Kelly… not sure if this is forever or a passing phase, but couldn’t be more smitten with this bag and want MORE MORE MORE!!! LOL!!!!
- LeOrangeBliss replied 11 years ago
Interestingly, there is only one bag I would take on trips :). I took my Hermes Jypsiere on my latest three trips to Paris, London and Korea. Easy bag to use, totally functional as a sling crossbody or shoulder tote with a pop of colour. :)

Warm welcome Opulenthabits. I too love to peer into these magical closets. The Chanel boutique near me has a floor to ceiling one that houses many drool worthy treasures. Thank you for sharing with us and I hope to see you bopping all over BopTalk ?

Louboutin and Vuitton. My favorite pairing?
- BoyWithTheBag replied 11 years ago
I am ‘Team Birkin’! The B is just more classic in my eyes..i know people might not like lugging it around by the handles but it’s spaciousness is the biggest advantage. I am kind of upset Kim is on my team though! :(
- fashionistawearsprada replied 11 years ago
i have used my LV epi Alma GM with my hermes evelyn’s strap in the same color . Alma GM is very Roomy and the adding the strap makes it easier as a cross body and weight is not an issue that way

Welcome to BopTalk, glad you are here! I’ll start off by saying that I adore your bucket bag. The fringes are a fun touch. ?
My love for Saint Laurent began with their clothes, they arguably make *the* best jeans. That love has now spread to accessorize and of course bags.
The Classic Duffle in size 6 was the one that started my love/obsession/addiction for bags. I had a few designer bags before but this bag was truly a turning point. I didn’t make the purchase on a whim or simply because I needed it to carry things. If I remember correctly, I saw Miranda Kerr carrying the duffle bag and knew straight away that I needed it. Maybe it was a status thing? Whatever the reason, I haven’t looked back and I will always treasure this bag.
Here are some of my Saint Laurent shots along with YSL Card Case and YSL Cassandre Cuff.

Warm welcome to BopTalk Sammy Cheema ☺️ Your information is very valuable, thank you for sharing! I have weondered about this ‘croc’ because several fashionistas have been sharing the YSL WOC(wallet on chain) versions on IG. I had wondered about price too. Great info :)
And what a fabulous bag! Heart Congratulations. I will share the link to a story we did on the sac de jour here at PurseBop.com https://www.pursebop.com/saint-laurent-sac-de-jour-tote/
- Pursebop replied 11 years ago
I have to say I lean more towards Team Kelly. There’s something that seems “bulky” about the Birkin to me, and I like that the kelly is a little more simple. Kate Upton really pulls of the kelly well in this ad.

I really liked them, and already got the soft pink one! But liked more the Fall-Winter petite malles.

The all white one is divine! I did tell my SA not to show me any more Petite Malles (I don’t like conspicuous monograms) but these extremely enabling pictures convince me that my little Bubble (Petite Malle Bubble Limited Edition.) will soon acquire a cousin!
- Lilycat126 replied 11 years ago
Hi there I adore the Petite Malle and you prompted me to enquire now to see what is going to be coming where I am- I really love the Monogram with the fuschia/red edging , but equally love the soft pink Epi one.
- @solidarityfemme replied 11 years ago
