What a perfect thread idea favloves, bravo!!! I´ll be sharing my IG pics once I´m on my phone (on the computer right now)…What GORGEOUS pics you posted, can´t stop going back to look at them! That metallic pink Boy is a dream, and so are the pink ballet flats…btw, these CC flats are my fave shoes ever, if the “pick 3 fave bags to take to the island” post included shoes, these flats would be my number 1 pick. Oh, and I absolutely LOVE your B´s hardware <3

Honestly, I have no idea… I´d say Blue Electric, but I´m sure I´d be in doubt whether to get a classic orange or an anemone instead… H color chart is just to pretty ;)
- PatiEv replied 11 years ago

And last but not least, the story you are waiting to here, my experience at Hermes Saint Honoré! Upon my arrival in Paris, I decided my first day landing to go to Hermes and check out the lay of the land. I first stopped at the leather bracelets counter to check out what CDCs they had. In the case, I spied a new CDC, Craie with Rose Gold Hardware! I asked if it was my size and after trying it on, knew it was coming home with me. Good luck so far!
Next, I headed over to the leather goods area. Now, if you have not been to FSH before, you need to queue to speak with a sales associate in the leather department. I stood in line for about 10 minutes and met with my first sales associate. He was delightful and we chatted about where I was from before he took my request. He scurried away and came back a short time later with the news, nothing in the sizes or colors I was looking for but to check back another day.
Two days later, I went back again and asked for the same gentleman (do this to skip the queue!). Unfortunately he was not available, so another SA took a look for me. Again, nothing in colors I wanted. I was offered other bags, but knew with days left in my trip I didn’t want to “settle” for something I didn’t love. I did try again a couple days later, but no deliveries so alas, no bags.
The day before my last day in Paris, I tried again. My original salesperson was on lunch, so I asked to see if someone else was available. I was assigned another lovely SA who was just a joy to work with. He took my request and came back with leather swatches. We talked about a few things that were available and just like that, he mentioned a color, size, and leather that I knew I just had to take a look at! After just a short wait, he returned with the orange box in tow and whisked me away to a quiet area of the boutique so I could have a look. When he opened the box and slid down the signature herringbone dustbag, I knew this was the bag that Paris was telling me to take home. In the perfect size and leather, the color was a classic I know I will wear for many years to come, remembering my time in Paris all the way.
I spent almost an hour in the store, chatting about Hermes and it’s history, the beautiful leathers and where they come from, the colors new and old, and the craftsmanship. It was like catching up with an old friend who has the same love of this amazing brand that I have had for so many years. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience on this beautiful spring day in Paris!
All smiles with my orange bag, heading out of the boutique!!
Who wants to guess what is inside??
5:00AM Central time update!!
THE BIG REVEAL!
Here she is! My beautiful and classic Kelly, the perfect end to my Parisian holiday!!
Rouge Casaque Clemence Kelly 32cm- Palladium Hardware
Thank you all for reading!! So happy I was able to share with you all!
(PS- I also picked up a small goodie in the airport. How can you help yourself when there is an H just steps away from your gate! Will post those photos and photos of the Rose Gold CDC when I land stateside!) xoxo Boptalkers!

Next up, to the design house of Saint Laurent, Rue Saint Honoré.
I have not been eyeing Saint Laurent in a while, but with the release of their Sac de Jour tote, I knew I wanted to check out their offerings. The Sac du Jour was GORGEOUS, ranging in colors and skins to please any shopper, from leather to exotic. If something else hadn’t caught my eye, one of these beauties would have made the trip home with me.
What I ended up toting with me on the Metro through Paris was a lovely wallet on chain. In the new season’s soft rose pink chevron pattern, gleaming gold hardware and chain strap, it will be the perfect spring cross body and clutch. It also pairs beautifully with the rose dragee clic H from Hermes (enable enable!)
Shown here au natural and with another Paris souvenir, a Laduree charm complete with Eiffel tower and Parisian gal walking her poodle!

Being a pink and purple lover – I would love a tri-color. 2 contrasting pink shades plus a purple. Or if lagoon came back, a bi-color, with a mix of lagoon and blue atoll :)
- favloves replied 11 years ago
I would have a ton of fun figuring it out though1 lol so many stunning colours from H
