It’s in the bag . . . the value that is. On Monday May 15 four masked men walked into the Dior boutique at the Short Hills Mall and ripped handbags off the wall. While employees took shelter in a back room and called police, the robbers escaped in a black SUV.
The value of the bags taken is reported to be $120,000, though there is no description of what styles were affected. Dior offers handbags at a wide range of prices. Online right now, the most expensive list around $17,000 with the least expensive just under $3,000.
