Hermès H08 Watch Makes Time Colorful

Hermès is having a colorful time with its new H08 watch. As you may recall, the luxury heritage brand shared its newest men’s model at the grand opening of its redone NYC boutique on Madison Avenue last December. Seen at that event on Mr. PurseBop and also last summer on actor Ben Affleck in Paris, this watch is driving growth of Hermès’ timekeeping division. As it leans into horology – that is watch making – its watch business experienced 46% revenue growth in 2022. And it shows no signs of abating.

From the recent Hermès Fall/Winter Collection 2023, that PurseBop attended, Hermès showed a new version of the H08 that’s on the way. This one is in a gold and black colorway.

Now hitting Hermès’ website, however, are some colorful models, perhaps leaning into the brand’s reputation as a fabulous purveyor of color. Along with a black on black graphene H08, you’ll also find blue, orange, yellow, and green. For the blue (and presumably others) color-coated titanium metal with a black back and satin-brushed ceramic bezel is paired with a matching rubber strap. It retails for $6700, which is less than the $8050 graphene version.
