For months, jewelry lovers have been speculating about what Van Cleef & Arpels would unveil for its 2026 Holiday Pendant. The Maison has been creating its limited-edition Holiday Pendant for 21 years, beginning in 2005, with each edition offering a distinctive combination of stones, materials and color. With blue absent from the annual lineup since 2019’s Blue Porcelain, many wondered if it was finally time for blue to return. Now, we have our answer.
Van Cleef & Arpels has unveiled its 2026 Holiday Pendant in Blue Grey Sèvres Porcelain, set in 18K yellow gold with a diamond center. From the first images, the color appears to be a true Blue Grey: a deep, muted blue with a distinct gray undertone. It is decidedly not a pastel shade; instead, it offers a rich yet subdued tone that pairs beautifully with warm yellow gold.
Sèvres porcelain combines the art of French ceramics with Van Cleef & Arpels’ jewelry-making expertise. The porcelain is carefully cut, tinted, dried, fired and hand-polished before being meticulously color-matched and set into the signature beaded motif. For 2026, that storied material arrives in a fresh new Blue Grey hue.
