Another major luxury jewelry price increase has landed — this time, it’s Cartier. Just weeks after sister-brand Van Cleef & Arpels raised prices, Cartier has rolled out adjustments across boutiques worldwide. The price update sees an average rise of 6.9% in the U.S., impacting the Maison’s most iconic offerings — from the Love and Juste un Clou, to its signature timepieces. Notably, timepiece styles like the Panthère and Baignoire bear the brunt of the hike. Across the Atlantic, Europe has seen a comparable shift, with prices rising by an average of 6.6%.
This is Cartier’s most significant price adjustment since April 2023 — that round saw increases ranging from 3% to over 10% across the board. This time, however, the shift involves greater increases affecting fewer items, with increases ranging from 2.4% to 18.8% in the U.S. While the overall average is higher, several popular styles within the Love and Juste un Clou collections, and the entire Clash de Cartier line — remain untouched in both the U.S. and Europe. The adjustment appears especially aggressive in the timepiece category, possibly in response to ongoing tariff pressures.

To get a clearer picture of the impact, let’s break down the revised pricing for Cartier’s most iconic lines. First up is the Love collection, where the price increases are modest, ranging from $100 to $300 across various models in the U.S. One of the most notable hikes is the 18K Rose Gold, Diamond-Paved Small Model Love Ring, which has jumped $650, from $7,250 to $7,900. Interestingly, prices for the classic Love Bracelets — including the full diamond and plain gold versions — are unchanged in the U.S. and Europe. At least for now.
The Juste un Clou collection follows a similar trend. While prices for the classic models remain unchanged, the small and diamond-studded variations have seen upward price adjustments in both the U.S. and Europe. In the U.S., the Small Model Bracelet in Yellow Gold now retails for $3,800, reflecting a 5.9% increase from its previous price of $3,600. Similarly, in Europe, the same style has risen by €200, marking a 5.1% increase.
Fans of the Clash de Cartier collection are in luck! This collection saw a significant price hike in 2023, but this time around, it’s a different story. The entire line remains untouched in both the U.S. and Europe — no increases, no changes.

Shifting focus to Cartier’s timepieces, it’s clear that as the jewelry collections have experienced modest price increases, the watches have seen the sharpest upticks. This could be due to rising demand for Cartier’s iconic styles, increasing material costs, or a response to tariffs. Regardless of the reasons, what’s certain is that the Panthère de Cartier and Baignoire collections are now significantly more expensive.
For instance, the pricing of the Panthère de Cartier Watch, Large Model, in 18K Yellow Gold & Steel has jumped by $700 in the U.S., from $10,200 to $10,900 — a 6.8% hike.
However, it’s the Baignoire collection that seems to have borne the brunt of the price hikes. The Mini Model in 18K Yellow Gold & Leather now costs an additional $900 in the U.S., marking a 12.4% jump. In Europe, the same style has climbed by €1,050, bringing the price to €8,850 — a 13.4% uptick. And then there are the diamond-set variations. The Mini Baignoire in 18K White Gold, with Diamonds, has undergone a dramatic price surge of 18.8% in the U.S., rising by $9,200. In Europe, the price has soared by 17.7%, increasing by €9,500.
