Chanel Goes Global

Just stumbled upon a New York Times review of Chanel’s Fall/Winter (‘13/’14) Ready to Wear Runway Show. In recognition of Chanel’s growing global brand equity, Karl Lagerfeld themed the event “Globalization.” Pins of light emanated from a giant globe at the center of the Grand Palais, representing each of Chanel’s boutiques and its expansive reach worldwide.
