Please Give Me Advice on Securing a Hermès Quota Bag in Paris This Month!

I’ll be in Paris soon (will be before fashion week) and was wondering if there’s a good opportunity to score a quota bag while I’m there. I know the online appointment system can be hit or miss, but I’d love to hear your thoughts:

Which Hermès store in Paris gives the best chance for a quota bag? (George V vs Faubourg Saint-Honoré vs Sevres, etc.)

If I don’t manage to get an online appointment, is there anything else I can do while I’m there (walk-ins, trying multiple stores, building rapport, etc.)?

Out of these bags, which ones are currently “easier” to get offered in Paris: • Kelly Pochette • Kelly 25 or 28 • Birkin 25 or 30?

Shopping at Hermès in Paris is a wonderful experience with three very different locations in the City. Each location has its pros and cons. Scoring a quota bag in Paris takes patience, perseverance, respect, good timing, and a level of luck. Is it worth trying, absolutely. Are there any guarantees that you will score in one location over another, unlikely. Here are our best tips and advice.

• Apply online for a lottery appointment the day before each day you will be in Paris.
• Remember to apply on Saturday for a Monday appointment as Hermès is closed on Sundays.
• Select the option Any Location to increase your chances of receiving a lottery appointment.
• Visit all three stores if possible.
• View the different inventory each store has to offer and decide where you would like to shop.
• Try to make most of your purchases at the location you intend to request a walk-in appointment.
• Request a walk in appointment every day you are in Paris and available.
• Alternatively, try to obtain a walk in appointment at each location visited and shop at that location if successful.
• FSH (the mothership) is the largest store and theoretically has the largest bag inventory.
• Sevres is the most unusual and beautiful location and usually has different inventory selections than FSH.
• George V is the smallest location but some report success here.
• If granted a walk in appointment, they may offer only non-quota bags.
• Try shopping with one SA at one location and after making your purchases ask if they can help you secure a leather appointment. Some have reported success with this method.
• Some also report that the more your pre-spend the better your chances of getting a walk in appointment.
• Some report that it might be easier if it is your first quota bag and you request a larger size such as a Kelly 28 or Birkin 30 or larger.
• Remain hopeful but stay realistic.
• Always be polite, respectful, and non-confrontational.
