Dear PurseBop,Every season I hear people talking about “25A,” “26C,” and “Métiers d’Art,” but I can’t keep them straight. What are the different Chanel collections, what do the letters mean, and when do they typically arrive in boutiques?
Dear Chanel Collector:
There are 8 different Chanel Collections that are released approximately every 6-8 weeks. Each one is designated by the Year and an identifying letter as follows:
26P – Printemp (Spring/Summer Pre-Collection) – February
26S – Spring/Summer Act 1 (Ready to Wear) – March
Coco Beach – April/May
26M – Métiers d’Art – June
26A – Fall/Winter Pre-Collection – July
26B – Fall/Winter Act 1 (Ready to Wear) – September
Coco Neige – October
Cruise (Resort) – November
For handbag collectors, the Pre-Collections (26P and 26A) often fly under the radar but can include some of the season’s most wearable, and hardest-to-find, classic bags. Meanwhile, Métiers d’Art is beloved for its exceptional craftsmanship and rich embellishments, while Cruise tends to feature relaxed silhouettes, playful colors, raffia, and vacation-ready pieces.
The Collections, released during the months above, are a reliable guide. However, individual boutiques may receive merchandise over several weeks both before and after the official collection launch. Your Fashion Advisor is usually your best source for precise delivery timing.

I really like the breakdown of the different Chanel collections, especially the distinction between Pre-Collections, Métiers d’Art, and Cruise. The focus on details and customization is what makes collecting interesting. It actually reminds me of the attention to detail I enjoy in Drift Hunters, where small design and setup choices can completely change the overall character.

Tracking seasonal release schedules across major fashion houses requires careful planning, especially when trying to secure limited-run seasonal colorways. From early spring pre-collections to holiday drops, knowing exact boutique arrival dates helps avoid missing out on classic designs. While expanding my collection of everyday fashion pieces and accessories, I’ve learned to compare shipping speed and return policies across different online retail platforms. Before placing a recent order for gemstone jewelry and budget-friendly accessories, I read through several Shop LC reviews to see how customers rated delivery times and quality. Planning your purchases around release calendars makes building a curated wardrobe so much smoother.

What a great overview of the Chanel collections! I like how you explained the drop dates and unique aspects of each line. It reminds me of my first Chanel purse purchase, which was nerve-racking but ultimately rewarding! I wonder if you could go a little more into the pre-fall collections fnaf 2 next time.
