Dear PurseBop:
At what point is a client considered a VIP at a luxury boutique?
Dear Am I a VIP?
Every luxury maison operates differently and there may or may not be identifiable parameters to meet to be considered a VIP.
Often a loyal client who shops on a regular basis with one Sales Associate over an extended period of time achieves VIP status.
Many advantages come with being considered a VIP. It is possible the maison will advise you that you have reached VIP status by how you are treated. You may receive invitations to special private events, access to exclusive products, fashion shows, newly released products, holiday gifts, and premium customer service. It may also include priority access to limited edition collections, early access to new products and collections, and special offers. These are all indications that you have reached VIP status.
Invitations to local events happening at the boutique, being offered the opportunity to order newly released items before the general public, receiving an invitation to view new ready to wear (rtw) collections before they are released in the boutique, and place an order early, receiving gifts for the holidays or other occasions, are all indications that you have reached VIP status at your boutique.
Enjoy the perks of being a VIP and happy shopping.
