I am so happy! After waiting for a year I scored a Birkin 25 in September, 2022 from my Hermès store. But after unboxing it I noticed that it was a Z stamp.
My question is: Is it possible to get a bag with a Z stamp which is for the year before? I read that Z is 2021 stamp and U stamp is 2022.
Should I let my SA know it. I was so excited when I got it and didn’t look inside and forgot to check the stamp.

Congratulations on your new Birkin 25. Although it is not common to receive a new bag from the boutique with the year prior’s stamp, it does occur. Usually at the beginning of the new year there will be bags that arrive with the prior year’s stamp.
We have heard from other community members that the Pandemic and production delays caused some boutiques to hold on to certain bags in certain colors that were harder to get, possibly for VIP’s. These bags were unopened and unused and held for certain clients. The fact that they were held for many many months into the new year is possibly what happened with your bag.
No reason to panic —You could alert your SA to the situation just for conversation. Nevertheless, your boutique fresh bag is brand new and equally special despite having a stamp from the prior year .
